Hi Deena, I love that scroll idea and I do remember that long prayer that you did for your table. So much work but I know you love it and it’s not work to you in a lot of ways. Rachel and I have been talking about learning to do calligraphy or even origami. We both love to Crosstitch but we’re not able to do it for different reasons. She is taking medicine that makes her handshake at times and I have trouble with my eyesight. So we were talking about what we could do instead. We always have so much fun together. I am thrilled that at age 26 she still likes to come and visit her Mamaw.. And when she comes she’s all over me with hugs and kisses which I love. So thankful you’re putting out videos again on a regular basis. Love in Christ

Deena, I agree with other commenters that you ARE an artist! You make these letters look easy once we see them broken down. This is really something I have wanted to learn and you have given us a great lesson on these scrolls. I love that you keep your beautiful scrolls and have them to use over and over again with a sweet memory tied to each scroll!! Thank you!!! I was so worried. I didn’t go in to hanging them because the video seemed to get so long. But at the end you can see me feeding the ribbon through and tying it in a bow. The. I just simply hang it on a nail. They are really lightweight so it makes it easy. If I use them in a video I will make sure to add that in for you. Have a great day.

I want very much to make a scroll like your "O Holy Night" scroll, but I think my hands might be too shaky....I have done crafts all my life but I have never been able to do writing like this. Is the Oh Holy Night scroll done on 18" or 24" paper?☺

@@kayneal4872 no ma’am. It is done on Scotch 75 sq ft 30"x360" Postal Wrapping/ Packaging Paper. I get mine at Target.

Hello, I use a few different kinds of for my larger scrolls I use a roll of packing paper found at Walmart or target. The lighter medium rolls come from IKEA. And the small black rolls came from Target years ago. I hope that helps. Have a great evening.
