Both the Inferno Splatter and Power Washer feel like weapons of the same class, both of thier gimmicks are cool, the nature of ‘Spray, and gain accuracy’ is awesome, and both of your ideas could easily make it in.

yeah, but they had too many differences too that we made them separate. like, the power washer charges in 1 second, it can hold its charge, it’s not great at inking. the inferno splatter continuously charges itself up, has hose like physics and great paint, and also not the best mobility. it’s kinda like shooters and dualies, similar but also very different. and with enough weapons in each class, they’d be even more different

I’ve always wanted a flamethrower class in splatoon based on flamethrowers, and I’ve done a whole lot of idea making for a class based on them! Sprayer weapon class idea: Sprayers - A weapon class based on flamethrowers that have mainly chip damage based weapons. These weapons have large tanks that would be right next to the normal ink tanks on the player. - Sprayer weapons have an initial few frames of start-up before they reach their full range, with all the weapons having different start-up interactions. - Sprayer weapons deal damage differently from most weapons, dealing damage to anyone as chipping similarly to ink storm when they are in the area of the spray, and weapons would differ in how fast they deal this chipping. - Sprayers have very large areas, hitting everything inside of their reticles (which would be shaped similar to tenta brella’s reticle), since they are meant more for chipping. - The spray part would have a slight rng accuracy similar to what weapons like shooters and splatlings have that causes the spray to move in different directions closer to the end of the spray. Sprayer Class Weapons: Graffi-T 93 - The most basic sprayer weapon, being the icon for sprayers. This weapon's name references Graffiti as well as the T 93 referencing the Type 93 flamethrower, a Japanese flamethrower designed in 1932. This sprayer's start up shoots out ink until it gets to its maximum range, being able to damage things as it starts up. The start-up would take about 0.7 seconds. Graffi-T 93 stats: Mobility: Normal (Midweight weapon type) Ink consumption: Medium-low (can keep firing for a long time) Kill-time: Medium (not the fastest at killing, but not super slow) Range: Midline (about the same as mini-splatling, maybe a little more range) Turf Coverage: good (pretty good at painting) Sting-Spray PSI - The backliner sprayer weapon, based on the stingray special from splatoon 2. Since it is becoming a main weapon, it would be heavily reworked (Its no longer a stupid game breaking special hooray!!!). The name is a pun on the old name for it with spray added in, and the PSI part references Pounds per Square Inch, the measurement unit for pressure, since this weapon is a pressure washer (what stingray was based on). Unlike the Graffi-T 93, this sprayer has a special gimmick, being that its able to pierce through walls that are within 1/3 of its maximum range (Look hear me out alright). When it goes through a wall within this range, it's maximum range becomes a bit shorter, and its only able to pierce through one wall. This would allow this weapon to have the ability to take positions behind walls without being too overpowered, since this weapon wouldn't be able to use most subs or specials while behind a wall, and it would have to use low walls if it wanted to be able to look around still. During its start-up, it doesn't shoot ink until it gets to its maximum range, similar to how it was in splatoon 2. Sting-Spray PSI stats: Mobility: low (Heavyweight weapon type) Ink consumption: Fairly High (Cant spray for a super long time to prevent having only a huge stalling laser for most of the match. Would also have white ink frames like range blaster) Kill-time: Medium-Fast (About the same time as it had as a special in splatoon 2, maybe a bit faster) Range: Backline (a little further than splat charger. Goes to about 85% of its normal range when firing from behind a wall) Turf Coverage: Below Average (Its not really good at painting for its team) PestiFyre Spray - A frontline sprayer weapon based on pesticide spray, coming from fire and pesticide combined together. For it's gimmick, the PestiFyre Spray gives a DoT effect that lingers on enemy players for a medium amount of time. During the time in which you have the DoT, you won't heal any hp while swimming in swim form. However, the DoT will deal a little bit less overall damage while you are swimming to make up for this. For the start-up, this sprayer releases the ink spray very quickly. PestiFyre Spray stats: Mobility: High (lightweight weapon type) Ink consumption: Medium (it's not gonna be able to fire for as long as the Graffi-T 93 can, but its still pretty good) Kill Time: Slow (It's not gonna kill the fastest on its own, the DoT does make up for this tho) Range: Frontline (Similar range to splash-o-matic) Turf Coverage: Great (Really good at painting) Kit ideas for the sprayers: Graffi-T93: Autobomb + Wavebreaker (location support) Sting-spray PSI: Beakon + Killer Wail 5.1 (beakon for a sub it could actually use and wail for displacing players with basically 4 lasers) Pestifyre spray: fizzy bomb + inkstorm (fizzy to poke at players at a long range and inkstorm to combo with the DoT and make a chip damage hell)

About 3 years ago I sent a letter to Nintendo on an idea for a thing that I called the Splatterang. I said I wasn't sure what special it would come with, but the bomb would be boomerang based. I'm literally freaking out right now about the fact that someone else is just as creative and absolutely insane as me. Hey, just some input on the fan letter here. While the idea of the Splatterang is really cool, you might not want to send ideas like that to Nintendo. They likely have a legal problem with taking ideas for their games from people outside the company. If they see ideas, and they use it without proper legal protection (or something like that), they might be the ones to get in trouble.

I had a fun weapon idea! I want to share (might be kinda long, sorry). It's the Inkchain Scythe (based on the Kusarigama aka the chained scythe). It's a melee weapon with a special range attack like the chain scythes. If you push ZR you'll simply slash in front of you slashing back and forth (kinda like a brush) however if you hold ZR you'll charge the weapons throw. The longer you charge the further it'll go (with a max range of course). When you throw it you swing the hand scythe in a sweeping motion slashing with the blade at the end (the swing throw can one shot but only if it's a fully charged throw and a direct hit by the blade). Just like a Kusarigama there's a chain connecting you and your blade. The chain (made of ink) will do small chip damage if it touches an enemy and after you do the throwing slash attack you grab the chain and yank it back into your hands (like a Kusarigama) and slash anyone in the way. A fun, more aimed oriented melee class where you get to swing around a blade like the Kusarigama.

i actually have an own idea for an weapon class it is a mix between a flamethrower and a spraypaint can. its gimmick is that the whole weapon runs on a seprate ink tanks that you have to refill manually. They are called pressure ink tanks and you have two of them. Refilling takes a really long time and is executed by pressing ZR+B when your pressure ink tanks are empty. the primary shot is a spray that deals damage. Instead of depleeting your normal ink tank it takes ink from your pressure ink tank when shooting and is slightly ink inneficient, however its paint is fantastic. but watch out when using it, since once your pressurized ink tanks are empty you basicly get a sploosh-o-matic with a bad firerate which drains a full ink tank in 2 seconds with the secondary shot (ZR + B) you charge a long range dash that explodes on impact. it deals heavy damage and can even oneshot with the heavy variant. it costs an entire pressure tank and some time to charge too. it can be steered slighly or can even zigzag depending on weapon variant. it can go through enemy ink but can be jumped over. weapon variants: splat variant: described above. heavy: the dash and explosion afterwards are both very big and oneshot, but can be barely steered. the dash costs both presssure tanks, leaving you vulnerale and dependent on your curling bomb or special weapon. middleweight: a bit better range on the primary fire than normal, but is harder to aim. the dash can travel big distances, is very easy to steer and can make tight turns. a direct hit with the dash oneshots, but its explosions are tiny. comes with fizzy bomb lightweight: primary fire has very high damage but terrible range. the dash has a very quick and cheap charge (1 pressure tank per dash) and can make zigzag turns into any direction whenever you want. but it has low damage (~60 dmg). it comes with linemarker to help you out for range problems.

I have a wapon idea called the feather smaker. It rolls like a roller and flicks like a brush. When rolling it has the speed if a dynamo and ink consamtion of a dynamo but it makes ink waves to your sides dealing 25 damage and the range is 2 tiles. Then the flick mode has the speed of the octo brush and deals 50 or 40 damage but only paints under the pilow and you have to hit your opponent with the pillow. The rang if the flick is 1 tile.The ink efficiency is a ink brush with a sub of ink saver main. The kit could be feather smaker,fizzy, booyah bomb or curling bubbler . Thats my take of a pillow weapon. All tile caculations took place in the test range

with the power washer toxic mist would be really good on it as the main weapons thing is denying the other team moving forward, so it would knock them back the same rate they are moving, so if you decrease the rate they are moving with toxic mist the actually do get knocked back and would be the perfect tool for just walling out chokes for certain maps, and for special i would give killer wail or bubbler they work really well with it(sorry i didnt word this well at all) aww i cant use air combos with the gauntlets :(

splat gauntlets would be cool if it worked like how a roller works with the gauntlets doing a stretchy punch at first then shooting out ink if you hold zr fter. also if you held zr on the first attack, it could either charge up the fist to do more damage or as your punching, ink come out of the stretched fist (but it would return to normal after a few seconds). also if you stacked health abilities (since i forgot the official ability name) on the gauntlets they would be unstoppable. don't hate me for this but the kit would have zipcaster and point sensor to be annoyingly overpowered at, y'know, being annoying.

All of these are amazing and exactly what I thought of for new weapons. When S2 came out and all we had was dualies (remember brellas weren't in S2 multiplayer on launch day) I was incredibly underwhelmed. Similarly, when S3 came out and the only new weapons were the splatanas and stringers (with one kit each STILL) I was increddddibly underwhelmed. Ninendo plz add more weapons, you have a bunch of fantastic options right here

I've been thinking of an idea for a special. It would be called the Squid Launcher or something- idk about the name- You would set it down kinda like the super chump, it would have the same trajectory line as super chump but the circle on the ground would be about a little but smaller than the super chump circle. And it would set down and just be there for about 8ish seconds. When you set it down, you can jump onto it in squid form and be launched in a space in the circle. When you land, you would do a small splashdown that does about 30 damage on the outside and 70 with a direct hit, but you would be coated in the same material as the Zipcaster, and you would be there for about 3 seconds before getting launched back to behind the Squid Launcher, to prevent launching into enemy territory and staying there. And btw when you set it down you will be stunned for 1.5 seconds to set it down, but not your teammates. Special Power Up would just increase the duration of the Squid Launcher to up to 11 seconds and the Zipcaster armor duration to up to about 5 seconds. Ngl this was hard to balance and think of. If anyone has any ideas for this feel free to say so I guess

Hey guys! I know i might be late, but hear me out... I just though of a great splatoon weapon class idea... It's a Javelin! Ladies and gentlemen... It is with pleasure that i present to you... The JAVEL-INK! The Javel-ink is a weapon class that focus on long ranged-melee damage, it might sound weird at first But since it is a very long stafflike weapon, it can deal melee damage even from afar. Plus, it has a Rush Gimmick that boosts your speed Drastically, Piercing through the first enemy it hits, now it might sound broken, but the dash doesn't last much, only about 1.5 seconds, and it has a cooldown of 5 seconds before you can use it again. Overall, it's a pretty ink efficient long ranged melee weapon that i think is quite balanced, but what do you think?

honestly LMAO. tbh, i didn’t think of that, but what would probably end up happening is it would extend the fire rate, but slow down the charge up, so everything is more spaced out. meaning it gets to the other levels the same speed, until like level 3 or 4, where it slows down until the last second the ink tank is active, where it reaches level 5. having level 5 last longer than a second sounds broken, but i don’t have it in game so idk tbh.

Hi, I really love all the ideas you guys made and I especially respect the creativity for the gauntlets. I have also created many ideas for main, sub and special weapons, some concepts more tought trough than other. Some of those concepts have similar fundamentals to the ones I made, like the gauntlets and the washer weapon class. I always wanted to share my ideas with the public, so nintendo might recognize them and people show their opinions about them, but I'm just not a good content creator nor artist and on other social media platforms my posts aren't really recognized. Now I come to my other intention I had with this comment, next to complementing and respecting your ideas. I would have a request/offer for you. I would really enjoy sending you my concepts and maybe you could show them in a new video, similar to this one, which is dedicated to all kinds of new concepts. Of course you would be allowed and I would even enduce you to rework the ideas and concepts to your visions, mostly because they aren't completly finished when you look at the stats or If you consider their power compared to other weapons ingame. Lastly If you were to accept my request/take the offer you could feel free to take credit for it (even tho I would like to be mentioned If you didn't mind that). PS: One third intention I have with this, but it's a minor one, is to support you as a rather small Splatoon content creator to grow as a channel, community and person. I always like to help out, especially with stuff like this! I hope you are as positive of my offer as I am and will take it 😄
