I mask for hard edges a lot in my work, and have various tapes depending on surface texture. Generally I use GAC 200 on panels as an edge sealant if the area is glossy. Fluid and soft body paints tend to bleed - heavy body acrylics lower the odds of bleeding under the tape quite a bit.

What is the yellow item you're masking with?

Hello BYDP, the yellow item is masking film from a local sign shop (it's mostly used for painting large scale graphics on vehicles or signs)
