Hi Diane, what gorgeous magazine images. And of course, by the time you finished "diane-ifying" them, they became wonderful eclectic journal covers. Thanks! Hazel

Thank you for your inspiration. I have an old scrapbook that has old Farmers Wife magazine covers. Tha covers were just beautiful back then. I am going to follow along and make a journal too.

Love that cover🎉...good idea with the modge podge over the old pages. I have beautiful pictures from my mother that was out of old magazines and is going to do the same to preserve them. Thanks Diane i always learn something from your videos and it's easy to follow and doesn't cost the earth.😂❤

Just know that the mod podge will cause your magazine pages to wrinkle. Thanks for watching and leaving comments. I really appreciate it!

These are gorgeous covers, I’m glad you found a way to create with them. It would have been a shame to not have a way to put them to good use.❤ Tammie

Beautiful pictures of women back then. I have some old mags that I saved with pictures like that. I've not seen covers made like this, so it was a good lesson for me. TFS Hugs * L

Diane, do you know of a way to preserve a very old magazine page so it can be used in a journal with both sides showing? There’s laminating, but I don’t want the page to be quite that thick. Have you used the fuse-a-cereal-bag trick?
@DianeHubertPrettyPinkCottage18 сағат бұрын
I'm sorry, I don't know of a way. I've never done the cereal bag thing. Sorry I'm no help with that!

These are so beautiful. You could put them on canvases and hang on the wall. But great for covers too.😊❤what actually is tie back. Ive heard mention before is it a bookmaking material?

Tyvek. It is what the FedEx (and other) envelopes are made from. You can also get Tyvek tape at Home Depot, Lowes. Google it.

Tyvek. It’s like paper, but not tear-able. Nice for reinforcing spines.
