This video was perfect timing for me. I am new to JJing and have collected so many books and magazines on my recent trips and it is all sitting in piles for me to sort and store. Your methods have inspired me to declutter and reorganize my craft room and now I'm at the point where I am ready to start harvesting elements from my book collection. Thank you so much!

I loved it, and I knew others would too!! Thank you for sharing your process. I have tons of books and some I just can't cut up so I sell them for others to do it. But I needed to know for my own process. Extremely helpful video. Thank you again for making it. Hugs * L

Diane, such a great informative video. I love the way you described why you save larger images to use as pockets or tuck spots and even trims. Oh goodness, I will have to watch for "Margie" images, too. Those are just adorable 🥰

WOW Diane! I think your process in harvesting things in your children's books is very organized and very helpful! I only make a journal for myself and maybe a few gifts occasionally so I really enjoyed seeing this today. You're amazing in your thought process too!

Thanks for sharing. It's helpful to see your process. Love that Child's Garden of Verses, hadn't seen that one before. My Mom loved that book and collected different editions with different illustrators. I couldn't keep them all, but I did keep Eloise Jenkins, Jessie Wilcox Smith, and Tasha Tudor.

I have a few copies, with different illustrators. I love the illustrators you mentioned. I don't think I've seen a Tasha Tudor version of this book!

Excellent video - perfect timing - been buying a lot of vintage children's books lately, but I'm afraid to start cutting them apart - love the illustrations in the Romper Room Poetry Book - Hugs.

You can copy your pages if you're not selling your work. I sell my journals, so I can't make copies. I have done some for my personal journals, though.

I love fussy cutting books , so I’m just cutting along with you !! Hey we are using the same scissors, not sure where I bought them, but they are easy to use due to the rubber cushioning !!
