Hi. Does the Brother scan n cut actually scan at the actual size of the items on your mat? In other words, after you scanned the flowers, can you turn around and print and cut those images and they will be actual size? I’m asking because I’m thinking about buying a Brother machine, because the Cricut machine I have does NOT scan at actual size meaning the items scanned have to be manually resized on the computer screen leaving room for error. I want a machine that will scan the items on the mat at actual size.

Yes, the brother scan and cut scan us the actual size of the image. I use the machine to cut out my stamps images without having to buy the coordinating die. One caveat is that the image must have solid continues lines for the outline. Broken lines within the image will the machine cut up to the end of that broken lines. When I want to cut an image that have sketched lines, I connect the line with a pencil, then the machine cuts it, then I use an eraser to spectate those line. There are tons of videos out there about this and other aspects of the machine. I recommend using KZbin to look at those videos before buying the machine. But I do love my machine. It does what I need it to do.

Wonderful info, awesome way to scan! Thank you! May I ask why you put them on a flash stick? And not your machine? Just curious 🤨 thank you so much!

Hi there and thank you for watching. I prefer to have a flash drive connected to the machine then using the storage of the machine to store my cut files. The machine only have a limited amount of storage and my flash drive is a 3T drive.

How do you keep the white die cuts to stay on the black card stock when you scan it? Your idea is fantastic?
