Thank you so much for keeping your promise Lukas! I'm sure I as well as a lot of others really appreciate it! Was wondering what are the odds of you doing a texture tutorial for all these flowers? I'm sure some people could really benefit from one of those.

I also noticed that adding a cloth tag on both cloth surfaces (or in my recommendation - a thicken object) helps enormously. Lower Bendiness, Add a little Stretchiness and in the Mix Animation tab, check With Force and a Strength of about 4 should keep the flower from falling but will still allow for self-collisions.

Fantastic Tutorial! Could you please make a tutorial on how to render the flowers as well? Materials, texture and lighting would be really helpful!

Since the intersecting parts are a big issue here, I would recommend using the Thicken generator instead of a cloth tag. That way you can control which direction the thickness goes.
