In regards to what Jacob is talking about at 1:16:00, I tend to live by a useful motto. The only way to guarantee failure is by not trying. So if you think that you can't apply somewhere because you'll never get in, you are stopping any posibility of that happening! A Small chance is better than no chance.

You guys did an amazing job on the game. I actually had trouble playing it because the environments were so spectacular. "No, I will not hurry up. I am looking at this gorgeous mountainside town as I wander through this lemon tree grove!" Really, this game so far exceeded every other game I've played in terms of realistic immersion. It was worth buying a PS4 just for this experience. Thanks for the grand adventure!

uncharted 4 textured environments are the best you'll get to date and I don't see how these kind of environments can look better

I`m a hardcore 3ds max user and after watching this video I would surely try to invest some time for maya as well. Great motivational video I just saw it now.. seems like I have 100`s of Great wall of china to get my dream to come true

Did the date change for this course? In the video its listed as July but I just checked the url and it says October?

so thats hwy battlefield 1 looks better because they use photogrammetry and naughty dog don't,but why isn't nd using it

I think all PlayStation exclusive studios use Maya bc their engine runs in Maya, I know Guerrilla uses it aswell.

Good presentation but I can say that he doesn't really have a clue on what kind of data you have to pass over the network in multiplayer, lol
