Hello sweet Gayle 👋 l’ve got so much done in the last 2 days. I’ve got rid of so much stuff. What a great feeling to start out the ‘22 and the very best part is my basement and garage is going to be my complete craft room. Isn’t that awesome. I got all my 🕯 🧼 🧴 🪡 🧵 📔 quilting supplies all sorted. It’s exhausting but so worth it. My grandsons are getting all of Gramps tools 🧰 and cabinets. I had to share. I remember your dining? room video craft room, so l knew you would understand how great to get some room. Great idea to save your thumb with inking down. Plus, l just got out that same collage day project to work. I think it’s so fun to flip n see what you get. I don’t think it ever looks bad. Stay warm and thanks for all the videos 🤗

Hi from Aston Bay in South Africa again! Lovely video Gayle, thank you. We are pretty much settled in our new home and it is 28 deg C here today... lovely! Gayle, if you mist the ink on your craft mat with water so that it makes tiny droplets, you can "smoosh" some paper in it to make grungy bits! Have an awesome day!

You are really on to something with those tracing paper strips! I’m on those this week for sure! I have some vintage pictures of my mom and dad I’ll be scanning to use like those adorable little kids you’ve used! The journals I’m making are for my daughter and her littles…and she’ll be thrilled to have those pictures in her journal! We lost my folks just a little while ago and we adored them both…so I’m hoping these pictures will bring joy! Thank you for leading the way!

Hey Gayle, I have thumbs issues too. I place the tag so that it hangs over the edge of my desk to ink the edges. You could maybe let it hang off the edge of your glue book. It helps to get the same look as if I held the tag. It also works when I use that Tim Bolts edged tool thingy. I hope you find a method that works comfortably. It’s so interesting how different regions view snow. On NewYear’s Eve day we (north east Kansas) received our first snow and it was as if it was a major problem. We had 2-3 days of storm tracking, Eve and day of storm reports, people running into snow plows and day before grocery store rush. Everyone was questioning the road conditions. It was a zoo. Here you’re getting double digit snowfall and it’s “ho hum.” I love internet people watching. Also love the tags, etc you made. Can’t wait to see them in a journal. I think Rachel’ biggest impact from her challenges was reminding everyone to use vellum and tracing paper plus to use to make “fauxshi” and collage strips. Sorry to be long winded.

I agree, surprised they only have a foot. We don’t get snow where I live in Northern California but all I have to do is take the freeway about an hour up into the mountains and there’s plenty of snow to see and play in. Anyway in December we got 17 feet up there. Some of those people have had no power for weeks, nope, not for me.
