That’s the way with scraps- an over abundance or the lack of it being used. Then you grab papers and start tearing them apart and the cycle begins again! I love it because it means I am creating!

Oh my goodness!! Backstory…my granddaughter (5)has cut her hair- twice in the last month! I have given my grands a lot of crafting items and they love it! But now, my granddaughter is grounded from scissors FOREVER! Lol Now, watching this scrappy Saturday, my grandson asked why you weren’t allowed to have scissors either!!! These kids are so funny!!

These scrap strips turned out so pretty. I will have to add them to my list of things to make. Gotta get through the holiday season first. We had snow here in central Nebraska Friday afternoon and evening. Deep snow of a foot on northern border. We were to get about a half inch, that by early afternoon turned into a winter storm watch and we ended up with a good 2" of heavy wet snow that hasn't melted off yet even though it was warm today. Hope your trip was fun and safe!! Funny...my dad had a construction project in Elk Park. I have a funny story about my first solo drive to Helena from Bozeman. I forgot to turn at Three Forks and ended up in Butte! 🤦🏼‍♀️ In other words, I know the Route you are talking about 😂😂 I was trying to find my way and got pulled over by the highway patrol who said, "I see you are trying to speed a little here." I replied, "Probably, I'm actually lost!! I'm trying to get to Helena and I think I missed a turn by Three Forks! Can you please tell me which way I need to go?" So yeah, it cost me $5 to get directions...that was way back when the ticket wasn't about speeding, but was about wasting natural resources! (Stay alive at 55)

Hi Gayle! I'm always excited to play scrappy Saturday with you! These strips are one of my favorites too. I kept yelling put postal stamping on your stamps... but usually didn't hear me. 😕 It seems weird to be moving on from Christmas 🎄 even stranger to think it's almost upon us! I slept today, my arthritis in my knees and hands is really acting up with the winter weather. We are starting to get snow in Maine. Nothing significant but my body objects. Luckily I was able to get in quickly to get my next Euflexxa injections in my knees. So over the next 3 weeks I'll be getting those for Christmas lol. Not a cure but they help me walk. Anyway.... love those hearts so pretty.

I know what tracing paper is but how did you get tracing paper strips with something on them. Did you put something on them before you are decorating them. I looked for another tutorial for a clew but didn'find anything. Please help me please. I wish to make some. I have been watching you for over a year and hardly stop and comment. I enjoy all of your tutes. I wish I could find a group in Denver. I Thor you might know of some. Hope your snow is not too deep. We have not received hardly any but you already know that.
