Now the question is can you make these eyelashes work with shape keys without adjust them for each individual shape key? I know form my experimentation that surface deform modifier messes them up. Maybe a hook modifier and then hook the eyelash onto a vertex?

It's definitely possible, though usually you would have the entire face rigged with the lashes before producing the shapekeys. That way the lash movement gets included with the shapekey movement -

Kinda silly to give the eyelash 4 subdivisions- that's 8 x 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 = 2048 polygons per eyelash, with 4 eyelashes that makes the poly count 8192 quads, or 16384 tris. Not great. good tutorial anyway.

Not to be offensive or anything but I am curious to why you are charging $20-30 for simple textures and then also giving away models for free. Love the work but really curious

Sure man, the reason is because the eyelash and brows are really just my personal speedy solution for people who want to save time. It's not hard to make eyelash textures, but it does take quite a lot of time to make a lot of them in 4K. Even if you don't buy the textures from me, I know you'll be able to either make them yourself, or find them from someone else fairly easily. So, it's really just for those looking to save time. The characters on the other hand are the opposite, there main purpose was to help the community learn and have a fully rigged and anime shaded character that they can reverse engineer and learn from. So, to put simply, the characters are learning materials for new users in the 3D community. The eyelash/brows are more of a shortcut for those that already know what they are doing.
