Someone like me. My very first comic book was Spawn #1, and I became hooked on the character and lore. This was awesome.

I love the pure joy and enthusiasm you exuded while sharing the final print hanging on the wall. It’s so easily relatable to the nostalgia I feel when thinking back to when I first started collecting comics too.

I could probably do this with my original paintings. Short of an alternate way of doing art prints. Also, if you are a Spawn fan, have you heard of the heavy metal band Iced Earth. They have a whole album dedicated to Spawn. The album cover can be found inside Spawn #50.

Epic Print! This is just awesome Jesse! Great Work! I am an art student in University and the whole process you went through is spot on with digital fabrication as a method of producing fine art or in this case commercial pop art. I just finished a 3d printed art project my self with the intention of selling my prints afterwards. I haven't had such a awesome response at an art critique before lol. I sold 15 prints so for out of the 78 prints I made for the project. It would be even more epic if you made two more of the same poster print you made but change the colors on other two. Place them all next to each other to make a triptych. You know like Andy Warhol made several reproductions of celebrities but with slight variations to them. Through a little and Andy into your art! lol. Awesome stuff Jesse. Very inspiring! Thanks for your dedication to covering the details of your process and your enthusiastic energy!

Did something similar in small. I needed more colors (the picture was mainly blue but had a red section) in my hueforge print so i photoshopped a area out and printed it separately. Needed a little sanding but turned out great.

One of the small advantages of living in Los Angeles at the time. love this project. I’ve been waiting for the TD to be available again. It’s sold out so fast so got that ordered so I’ll be able to do more of these for myself. Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. Be well be you.

That is MAGNIFICENT!!! For me the image would be Dave Dorman's famous "Aliens vs. Predator" cover from Dark Horse Presents #36. I SSSSOOOOO have to get me a 3D printer. Okay, since you asked at the end if you can get hold of a copy of DHP #36 I'd like to see it but with a twist. There were 2 different covers. Each had the OTHER cover printed on the BACK cover. So if you could get the one with the pencil art on the front cover, I'd like to see you scan and print the PAINTED ART that's on the back cover. I've been to 6 San Diego comic-cons and Dave Dorman is the only person I've ever met that I had butterflies in my stomach before meeting. And I've met television and movie stars. I was honestly afraid I might throw up on the poor guy. I didn't.
