glad to find this video! Have been printing proxies for my wh40k army and have been finding them to be britlle were a light and even soft fall still ends up causing them to break easily. I want to se if it's possible to increase their durability to handle some stress.

Another influencer recently reviewed this as well. He claimed the small filter in this does exactly nothing for VOCs... Nor does the original bigger USB one. Like a gimmick or false tactic used by Elegoo. What's your educated opinion on the matter? Has elegoo ever proved their claim that the filters help reduce VOCs?

Seems like an insane amount of supports when the model is directly underneath… not sure why you wouldn't just add supports into the model itself

Got mine yesterday, i have been printing non stop. The only issue I had was one of the belt tensions was off and I had to manually adjust it a bit, it was to tight one side. It is fast, I own many Bambu's and I am hoping this is a bigger replacement for a few.

Definitely disappointed in the lack of window destruction this time. 😢

Couple of questions for you. I bought all the stuff here and Am 24hours into printing and I'm wondering a few things. Did you dry the filament before printing? I'm getting some sloppy layers at the edges after it stops printing the supports. I'm wondering what your surface was like on this project.

I got this same printer and sadly is self destructed when I started to level it. The print head stabbed the bed and actually put a hole in it and jabbed the print nozzle to the point it cant be removed from the head. Now it just shows an firmware error message on the screen when I start it. I'm working with Elegoo to see what can be done but it has been less than 24hr so we will see how that goes. I just wish they had a number I could call to get it taken care of faster. But thanks for posting this video. I am looking forward to all the cool things I will be able to print with it. I got it for the print bed size mainly.

I downloaded an stl file for a Hawker Hurricane fighter plane. It looked so corrupted in the slicer but I decided to print it anyway just to see this weird version. It printed perfectly just like in the slicer but the supports that I put to it was hellish to remove. In the end I gave up and just left ghastly Hurricane partially "entombed," so to speak, in support.

Strange how you picked that particular spooler. One can see that its not rolling the filament evenly on the spool and very obviously will cause print problems.
