Thank you for that edit rig method at 4:23. I like that you pick a single topic and covers all the parts so its easier to come back to video and revise. and I appreciate your subtitle where I can confirm exactly which button to press.

great video, but is there a way to import the model into blender
@HollysMayaTutorials2 жыл бұрын
You can import models pretty easily but the rigging system in Blender is completely different so you’d need to rig in Blender unfortunately

Clicking on "Create Joints" then clicking on an existing joint that is in the hierarchy doesn't work on me. It instead create another joint and it's not connected to the joint I clicked (In the place where the supposedly existing joint that is in the hierarchy.) . I wish you can help me. I'm feeling lost.

If that isn’t working then select your 2 joints and use the connect joints tool, open the option box and set it to Parent joints and apply. The order you select will matter, I believe it’s child then parent from memory.

I wonder if you plan to do any rigging videos on game or production props such as a Bow and arrow or maybe something that breaks and snaps back together. Also you mentioned in one of your other rigging tuts that you have students. Do you teach in the US, UK or online maybe?
@HollysMayaTutorials3 жыл бұрын
Hi Justin, I don’t have any plans for these types of rigging tutorials at the moment. My tutorials are usually driven by what my students need but I’ll make a note they’ve been requested and add to my list. AntCGI has great rigging tutorials if you haven’t checked his channel out before. I teach at University of Lincoln, UK :)
