My mother made every “holiday” very big like this. It’s something she won’t ever forget as a child. I’m almost 40 and my mom still does it for my kids lol. But they don’t get candy and toys really. My mom did things she knew we needed like clothes and socks and fun stuff. My dad traumatized our childhood so she made the best she could. ❤

Silent follower here but just wanted to hop on and say this... I just love you guys! Your beautiful little lady and you both are just nothing but amazing. Your bond, relationship, the whole nine yards is just awesome. My 8 year old son likes watching as well. He hears your voice and comes running from the other room and asks if Im watching his favorite girls. :) You always put a smile on my face and also help me realize that being a Mama is tough, its hard work. But, as Mom's we can only do so much and just give it our best shot, that simple. You make it look easy girlie. But also you brighten my day and positivity just radiants from you. Girl, you're such a great Mom. Not because you buy her stuff, but because you create such sweet memories with your little beauty and you really pay attention to what she likes. I'm also guilty of over the top Easter/ Christmas/ Valentines and I appreciate all your effort. I do what you do with putting the summer clothes as part of the Easter basket and stocking up on cute things in advance. I also use the same baskets & burlap holiday gift bags every year so it's less wasteful. I have nice jars to put candy in for each holiday. I try not to get "filler toys" or junk that looks cute but never gets used. Now that my little is getting older, I've started doing a bunch of $10 gift cards for like fast food places, and like $20 or $30 for like amazon or target or walmart or gaming so they get what they want. And I gift experiences, so we have gift cards to the zoo and museums and theme parks or the movies. When summer comes they can pick something to do every week. We didn't have much money when I was growing up and we never really got baskets or stuff in our stockings so I try to make my kid's childhood experience better than mine.

They put marshall stickers on the oil bottle I bought. I used rubbing alcohol with an abrasive sponge and it took it off. Lovely job !

Aww abbey you'll find somebody when you least expect it. My soulmate passed away a year and half ago he was the best thing that ever happened to me and he came outta nowhere. I still believe that may happen again and I have no doubt it'll happen for you when the universe feels its time. I keep a running list on my phone of ideas for whatever idea, and Markoff what I got already. That way you're not buying multiples, or too much. Another helpful tip is pick a theme, and only get things with that particular theme. Sometimes it really helps to limit the purchases made. 😂 I love the way you do over the top baskets. 🤷🏼‍♀️ There were times in active addiction I didn't get my babies anything for the holidays, and now that I'm sober and able to I tend to go overboard too. 🤷🏼‍♀️ He is risen and Happy Easter Y'all!

I love how different countries celebrate holidays differently. I live in the UK and easter we buy choclate eggs. I think some people here do gifts too but my children just have chocolate eggs and easter crafts 😂 boy am i glad because the birthdays and christmas are enough 😂.. love this ❤❤

I love seeing videos like this, my mother left me at a very young age (I was 1 month old) now I am 15, and she still wants nothing to do with me. But I am in a very good house hold with my older brother, dad, and step mom. But on the other hand my younger siblings (which my mom had with another man) live with her. And I get to see them very rarely when they are with my grandmother, because I’m not aloud to go near my biological mom. I just hope one day I’ll be able to be like the mom that my siblings and I never had to my little siblings, so when I see them I try my hardest to teach them the gospel and about the Lord, and be as nice and caring as possible because they don’t hear or get those things from my mom. Easter is not a time for receiving presents. Easter is a time for reflection & deep mourning as I’m sure you are aware. Jesus gave his life for our sins & was crucified & nailed onto a cross. On the Sunday he rose from the dead. At the most you should receive & give a small gift representing new life such as an egg or bunny rabbit made from chocolate or some other sweet. Even a beautiful new pet like a real bunny,kitten or puppy you can keep & love for its life. Easter is so far removed from clothing hauls,makeup & skincare. I really fear for people like you & I hope you learn about what’s sacred & important in this life before it’s too late. It’s not about impressing people who probably don’t really give a crap about you anyway. It’s nice to pamper yourself & have nice things but there’s no need to announce it on social media especially at Easter.

I loved putting together Easter Baskets for my son. He never had a chocolate bunny except once. I always got a cross if a cross was not available he got a lamb. The year I could afford to do an Easter basket his aunt did. That was the only time he got a chocolate bunny. He was disappointed.

You should have got at least like 10 packs of Easter grass lol. The grass is supposed to fill the basket to the brim to where you can see it peeking over the top and the items are visible on top. The more items you add, the further down the weight pushes the grass. So you need a lot to fill the bulk of the basket. :)
