Spray can painting tip Ian: don't press the button with the nozzle aimed at the job. Aim _next_ to the job, press the button, sweep the spray across it at as consistent a distance as you can manage, then take you finger off the button once the spray's clear of the job. That way you don't get puddles and runs where you "stop" at each end of the pass.

Food for thought. Do you think a delta force guy cared about runs in his paint or precise spray can etiquette? Or did he quickly grab what I'm presuming would be paint at hand and quickly and sloppily blast his rifle in a colour that would fit his current theater or operation. Not chirping you. But maybe the sloppy quick and dirty paint job is part of the vibe. It's like perfect copies of Eddie van halens guitar. The actual guitar kinda looked like shit.

If we assume the red dot is 2" above the bore axis of the rifle and the laser is 2" below the bore axis of the rifle then setting the laser 4" below the red dot will mean it hits 4" below where the red dot would. So if zeroed at 25 yards with the red dot and that is equal to a 200 yard zero with the red dot then the rifle will shoot 4" higher than the laser at both ranges. That means the laser will roughly meet the bullet about 4 inches lower so a zero of about 250-260 yards give or take depending on bullet, velocity, etc. It should be noted that because the laser is below the bore axis there will be only one zero because the bullet sure won't cross the laser as it's rising.

@matt7flyАй бұрын
@stanislavczebinski994 : I think Ian got it right. The laser is below the barrel and the red dot, so to get to a zero you will have two straight lines, which can intersect at only one point. The bullet on the other hand flies parabolic, so there are two intersects of the trajectory with the sighting line - called near zero and far zero. In this case, 25m (near) and 300m (far).
