Creating Pareto Charts in Tableau

I tried this on Tableau 9.3.At 3:30, when I try to add the same dimension CNTD(Customer Name) to Color shelf, it automatically gets removed from the Column shelf and the chart shape changes. Then I tried creating a calculated field with the formula from the CNTD(Customer Name) and adding that to the Color shelf but that came out as AGG(CNTD(Customer Name)) and the color was dark green throughout. How can I solve this?

Had the same issue with Tableau 10.2. Can someone advise how to address this?

Not sure if you still need a solution, but press the Control Key on your keyboard while dragging CNTD(Customer Name) to color shelf

why is the percentage of running sum upto 110%?

The very end on the right is 100%. This looks at profit, so with some of them being unprofitable, it goes above 100% before coming back down.
