Creating Photo Frame Assets in Blender

Superb tutorial! If you could somehow set it up so the image dictates the size of the frame so it all scales correctly I think this could be one hell of a useful tool. I am a picture framer and would kill to be able to input an image, select matt/frame and then Blender sets up the meshes ready to render the final image/mockup. It would be the perfect tool for me and others like me

@@Fritz7035 you could also go to side view and hold CTRL to turn on snapping while moving the mouse n get it there

Seems snapping could have helped setting up the frame around 5:30 on

Could you make a gemetry node with the input is a image plane and then it will automatically turn into a frame accordingly to the size of the plane?

That’s a good idea. Getting the skew to work right could be tricky.

Quick question: I'm not the best texture user in Blender so do these Asset Packs from Gumroad come with the textures like in the photos ? I'm looking to .DAE them to bring into Second Life
