hey dash, i’m into psy-tech like luis M, and other ibogatech artists. i’m currently struggling a lot with how you make those atmospheric bass plucks and weird synths into the groove, and also the reverse pitched psy-trance basses. mainly with the atmospheric accent ones tho

Great video! There is this thing I'm struggling with. I have a breadown in a track with that 1/3 bass line like Vini Vinic does all the time, and I just can't do the proper transition back to normal rolling bass line. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Often the guys will use a 4/4 midi on a pluck sound on the kick grid, that way it can fit in both triplet and quarter notes, then it’s just about arranging percussion to fit 😃
@LukaReeson
@LukaReeson 6 жыл бұрын
This was the first time I did that, and I think vini vinci are not the only one who does that. You can listen to the track on my channel and tell me what you think. It's the latest thing that I uploded.

Yo Dash. Loving the KZbin series brother! Very informative videos and great editing. Keep up the amazing work! I'd love if you could perhaps do a tut on how to create this sound at 0:46. Sounds like a kinda drunk lead. Haha soundcloud.com/kala/04kala-cartwheel

Sorry, I don’t see why you’re rendering the kick, bass and percussion. You call it a trick, but don’t explain what the purpose of it is.

Sorry mate, no offense intended. I wasn’t questioning whether or not the technique is valid, it wasn’t clear to me why you were doing it. It makes perfect sense now that you’ve further explained it. My current track is featuring this whole buildup and drop per your tutorial.
