Amazing tutorial. I was scratching my head and couldn't figure out arcs and was looking for a way to just put a bend in something. This was exactly what I needed.

I'd call that more of a hidden feature than a workaround. I can imagine that being incredibly useful! Thank You

Very clever. I've often wondered if this kind of work-around will fail at some later revision? Any thoughts?

Thank you for useful bending guide. I have question. When combining with Join, different parts are combined into one material. Is there a way to bend while retaining each material?
@jrhackney
@jrhackney 2 жыл бұрын
Probably not. Since the Combine command will merge materials. The only option I can think of is to make both bodies the same material, but that may not suit.

Damn, this works so well you'd think they'd implement it as an actual feature.

It worked in the video, it will work for you. If you want met to take a look at your model, open it, go to File, Export and save to your hard drive. Then email the F3D file to jhackney1950@gmail.com. I will take a look and send it back with, I hope, the correct solution.

Same here. After picking stationary side, there are no more sides/lines to pick.
