I get what you say about not realizing that more things are needed in order to get the functionality I'm looking for. Sometimes I'm looking for just ONE formula to do it all, but it's a combination of steps that will get me to what I want.

This is largely the answer in most situations. (Something I'm saying to people I work with 1-on-1 literally ALL THE TIME!!!) - You need to add more tables - more columns (physical or virtual) - more slices, views, actions, automations - You need to slow down your thinking... - There's more steps involved - You're skipping over giant leaps of logic that need to be addressed - etc. This is especially true if you're a citizen developer, as we don't have the traditional training that would have exposed us to many of these aspects already - so we'd be "looking out for them" and such, making the whole development process "simpler" and more streamlined. It's a never-ending learning process. (There's still stuff I'm learning about the platform, and other systems it can integrate with.) Happy apping!

Thanks for the idea! This topic is a hard one to solve in AppSheet, and honestly... there's yet to be a good solution made; everything that's out there is... messy, to say the least. This is a great topic suggestion for a video; it's on the list!
