We are currently trying something new with my three children, aged 5, 3, 3. They each have a jar and can earn marbles. Once the jar is full of marbles they can choose a treat. They are all trying to fill their jars up to go to the cinema. I think they like it as it’s visual watching the jar fill up, similar to your stickers.

Great idea! To add to it, in my classroom, once they get enough points, they get a special reward. This includes trip to the park, water play, a movie, or something else that's special. Maybe once they get to 20 or 30 (or whatever number) stickers, they could have a special activity. That way the novelty doesn't ware off as fast.

I feel like my 4 year old just would not be motivated by stickers and then she would throw a tantrum until I gave her that notebook to color in 😂

Maybe you could offer colouring pages or new markers instead? Every kids motivation is different, go with what they love!

I ended up just doing a good reward at the end of the week. And now my daughter is 13 and she goes and cleans the kitchen without being asked. So keep it up. It does pay off and they do learn
