Hoffman Academy on KZbin has so many free videos my kids have used. He has a membership option as well, for those who want to pay, but honestly if you begin with his free videos, there are so many. And if you start with unit 1, your child will learn a lot of basics and eventually learn some beautiful pieces all the way through to unit 15!

i have made a bucket list for the summer, we will do 1 thing on the weekend that usually we don't do or at lease an activity that they will really enjoy, since during the week i have to work and (from home) and we don't get to go places much. i also got them 1 activity book (at Costco) 700pages plus, with few subjects in, they need to finish it by the end of the summer and they will get rewarded when its finished. reading daily is on our schedule, and they have to write in their reading log about the book specially is its an informational book, then we add the minutes to the reading log for the summer in the library- they may win a prize as well. Lexia / Iready a learning program (from FLVS) they do at leas 4 times a week for 30 min a day. im planning to get them back on due lingo , but as of now their plate is full so they will do it atleas once a week. thank you Jady, always a pleasure to hear about your productive ways and everything else you share, take care.

@Kayla Henderson its actually 776 pages, "complete curriculum" and you can choose the grade level, i always get 1 up and it still seem to easy, so that's is for practice , refreshments and getting ready for next grade year. yes they love it , it keeps them busy, my 6 year old can do over 30 pages a day sometimes.

I really have such a hard time teaching my kids Spanish when I speak, read and write Spanish perfectly myself. My mom talked to me only in Spanish and my dad used both. I am first generation American. My mom is hurt that my children don't know Spanish. I just find it so hard to be their homeschooling teacher since I teach everything in English. Only my first born spoke Spanish her first 4 years because I spoke to her only in Spanish and did the basics like preschool in Spanish. But then we had more children and they speak to each other in English so I really don't know how to go back to Spanish. My main language is English now even though growing up my first language was Spanish. How do you do it??

I’m raising my children bilingual as well, for your homeschooling process do you teach them in both languages? My 3.5 year old is fluent in Spanish and I’d like him to read it and write it as well as I was taught, he is not so fluent in talking in English but understands everything and repeats phrases from watching peppa pig lol. My husband and I communicate in English and my son responds in Spanish cuz he does understand he just doesn’t walk to speak it 😂

It looks busy but the weekly themes are approx 1 hour a day only. It is amazing that people can accomplish so much when screens are put away and one can have an organized schedule. I am not a super human just a mom with a plan. Anyone can make a plan and do things weekly!
