32s after the post. I think in 20 years on YT, that's a first for me. Glad to see this series back!

The road with the parking shouldn’t have parking going right to the intersection. Typically it’s dangerous so city planners uses a bulb out. Also it might get rid of that weird sharp edges. Build a road that acts like a curb extension might help with the weird kink (I haven’t tried this so idk if it’ll work)

There is something like this on Denison Street in Rockhampton, Queensland in Australia. Instead of their being a median between the car traffic and rail traffic, the railroad track is the median between the two different lanes of traffic.
@wizkashifaАй бұрын
For the parking road, check out what City Planner did on Magnolia County - you might want to increase the lane width so the parked cars don't interfere with the road.

btw if you disable the square and the grid looking symbols in snapping you should be able to snap to the centre of roads and such whilst retaining your guidelines, its been a while since I actually played though. But from memory there's two snapping tools you can quickly turn off so that you can actually snap to the centre of roads and tracks and stuff. The grid one I know is one

I found that there's spawning issue with Modern Medical Clinic with this new pack. The issue is that ambulances spawn spot is in a horrible spot, and the ambulances have a heck of time turning around to leave for the call, and all the ambulances and even other vehicles that try to get in there like the trash truck post truck get stuck within the ambulances jumble mess. Try it, you'll see.

Disable "terrain casts shadows" to get rid of the retaining wall shadows. Love the train road 👌🏻

There is a mixed use rowhouse mod out there for both commercial / housing and office / housing. I think a combination of these two might work better along the train track road hybrid. Thanks for putting up your creations for us to enjoy.

For cargo a single track is awesome, but for passenger i would have used a double train track. Result is very good though. I would change the busstop to the campus-road. You can connect the back of the dormatory buildings with an invisible path to the road on the back of the building so they use that entrance also.

the rail down the road reminds me of somewhere in Germany that i would LOVE to visit one day. a town on the north cost called 'Bad Doberan' which has a narrow gauge steam railway aka 'The Molli' that runs down the roads through town
@dexman1231Ай бұрын
I think you need to add more rail crossings where there are intersections between the railroad and road.
@GarettOtisАй бұрын
The train tracks in town are not uncommon. Newberg is on the willamette and it has tracks like that through the city.

in tirano italy they even go through the middle of the city. Thinking about it, its almost like a tram

put the bus stop that you moved next to the college onto the road that the college is on so that students can use it and it's bit closer to the train station

I guess we have a railroad now, a literal rail ROAD.

with what i seen from videos, the rail tracks right next to the road is indeed a thing in America in certain places

*My OCD cant handle how the farmfields come right up to the fences and roads and anything else without a small grass strip in between. *Also crop fields dont need fences cuz they aint running away like cows :P *To fix the ends of the custom road next to the college. Have the custom road end a bit before the intersections, and in between the to just a small section of normal road.

The speed of this train is really too slow. Maybe it would be better to use elevated trains to increase the speed and build houses under the tracks (it must be a loss caused by lack of power? But new power plants are still needed)
@Sam-w5vАй бұрын
I think he was going for a street running train setup. A lot of older American towns opted to have street running trains, since they cost significantly less than elevated trains.
