Thank you for sharing, this is truly wonderful. I was wondering if you used UV lights and a kind of UV colorants on both of your videos ? Anyway keep up your videos, this is a real blossoming for our eyes :) Adeline.

Very cool- it incites me to wonder what glass rods of various diameters would do with the light if they were side lit and suspended, or clamped directly underneath the glass pane while you worked your liquid viscosity visuals... they would add a refractive effect that may be very dynamic - especially if the sidelight were an LED that changed colors as it traveled down the glass.

I must confess, I really love this. I have great passion for film-making, just don't know how to go about it. I haven't started handling cameras. For now, I am just creating short video clips using Proshow, Premier Pro. Not so good at those software's. I need a guideline on how to go about getting started, and the right platforms to use. Thanks!

Can the same effect be acheived using clear plastic sheeting? Just for safety matters, you understand.

I think so, but I think glass reflects light better. But if safety is you're concern, plastic will work.

Very cool stüff, Joey. As a digital artist I must say I so, so enjoy the analog approach. Awesome work mate. Edit: Did you try using multiple panes to create parallax? Might be tricky to light, but could be a cool way to create some additional depth... :)

I have briefly, but next extremely thin glass to pull of something like that, but def worth trying if I ever come across the right materials.

Hey how about if the producers decided to make another Planet of the Apes especially if they decided to do scene in which astronauts traveling into interstellar or galactic space to use the techniques to replicate star or galactic travel. Who knows I might do it myself.

Hey awesome video! what lens were you using for this?
@ShanksFX111 жыл бұрын
Used a Canon 100mm Macro and a Tokina 11-16mm Wide Angle, Wide Angle is a lot trickier but if you can get it right, the increased depth of field really makes the effect that much better!!!

First of all thanks for sharing this. It has inspired me greatly and I have set up a rig and glass sheet with a mirror angled at 45º to do some similar stuff. I have some Hydrogen Peroxide but I am not getting quite the same results as your brilliant stuff. What strength did you use. I have 6%. Do you think this is enough?
