Creating The Little Mermaid Cake: A Step-By-Step Tutorial

This cake decorating video is based on The Little Mermaid live action movie and I even included Halle Bailey's Ariel doll! My favorite tier is the bottom that's designed after Ursula. I created the tentacles with modeling chocolate and edible paint.

I LOVE this cake! Brilliant job! °NO SPOILERS° I saw this movie yesterday and loved it. But what really made it special was a kid in the theatre. I heard a little kid quietly crying behind me, and I just assumed they were scared. Then the kid said something I didn't expect at all. This little voice said through tears, "She saved the world. Ariel saved everyone!" The kid's parent replied, "Yes, she did. She was very brave." I glanced back and saw the kid's parent wiping away the kid's tears with a theatre napkin. The child went back to watching the movie, totally enraptured. I nearly started crying. I finished the movie, incredibly emotional myself now. I watched the two of them leave our theatre, a huge smile plastered across the kid's face. Halle Bailey's Ariel became this child's hero today. Never tell me representation doesn't matter.
