Every houseguest that walks through the front door will inherently have certain advantages and disadvantages in regards to the game. Nobody is "perfect" for the game... but what if there was? Today, we'll be creating what I believe to be the "perfect" Big Brother player.

@@Dylanssss ok yeah. Kevin was behind one person in the endgame. Even though he was never going to final 2 with her. I can’t give Kevin number one for this. But of Cody and Derrick, who’s jury management was better. I’d say Derrick beats everybody in his final 6, but he can’t beat Nicole (who got 7th). Cody could definitely beat anybody in his final 5. It depends on if he can beat Tyler. If he does beat Tyler he beats everybody in his final 9 (maybe even higher). I do think Cody does beat Tyler. Cody would probably get the votes of Davonne, Kevin, David, Dani, Nicole, and Enzo. So I think that means Cody is the GOAT at jury management.

I feel like BB14 Britney Haynes's social game is underrated. She was easily set to win the season with just how well she set herself up with Ian, Danielle, and Shane all considered her their number 1 or number 2. Dan openly said he feared just how great Britney was doing and that he needed to take her out when he did or else he would not be able to evict her. Which is the big reason he did the funeral (outside of saving himself and all).

people also tend to forget how much of a comp beast she was as she ended 12. 1 HOH and 3 POV - one of the best comp statistics for female players at her time. And then she completely ruins her average on 14 lmao.

I've got one: Flair. A Big Brother player can be liked as a person and as a player, but our perfect player needs to be somebody that makes us want to watch not only them, but Big Brother itself. Somebody that has that flair for the dramatic, a flair for comedy, a flair for unpredictability. Just something that they do that makes you realize "Wow, I kinda love watching Big Brother." My candidates would be Dan, Brittany, Ian, Dr Will, and Janelle. But help me out because these are mostly 14 players. lol

For “calmness on the block”, it’s got to be Dr. Will or Johnny Mac. Dr. Will threw competitions for fun (or, more accurately, luxuries) and used his save me speech (that he didn’t need to use btw because the other nominee won the veto) to a house of all-stars he couldn’t think of one redeeming quality any of them possessed, that he hated all of them, and to please vote him out (to which they responded by laughing like it was the funniest joke they had ever heard and voting to unanimously keep him). Johnny Mac spent so much time on the block, it may as well have been a second home. There was 16 evictions and he was in the house for 15 of them; of those, there were only FIVE total evictions where he didn’t touch the block at any point of that week’s process. “Pawns” have, historically, been anything but with one, glaring exception that proves the rule.

Two categories: Ruthlessness and social manipulation You must be willing to do anything to win even if that means betraying your alliance members and I would pick Dan Gheesling. You must also be able to manipulate people into doing what’s best for you while also being able to tell if people are lying to you. For that one I pick Paul Abrahamian

A factor I think is pretty relevant is being calm, not only on the block but in general even if somebody is yelling and trying to get in a fight and that could probably go to taylor this season, might be recency bias but she stayed super calm on the block and being calm after being yelled at by Daniel, she hasn't even raised her voice once in the house that i can think of

I don't see how Josh and Janelle are in the Top 6 over Dan and Vanessa, Josh won maybe I could see him in some list. Janelle is overrated she is not a great player at all she followed Dr. Will most of S7 and had a small chance of winning.

Ability to read the house/players: Derrick Ability to manage a jury: Derrick/Steve (Steve is a surprise i know, but he was amazing when it came to jury management and won at the end with 3 votes automatically going against him no matter what he did with the other 6... all of which he got). A suggestion I have is what you would do to make BB more fair. For example, decreasing the number of physical competitions or changing the types of physical competitions (Ex. Big D said in an interview that he'd be good at weight lifting). And if you think the game is fair, I'd like you to talk about that as well. I've seen people talk about how with the types of competitions in the game it's easy to pick out the winner of any given season.

Idk what would be the right way of wording this, but maximising the potential to get into the final 2. This might be a combination of things, but I think a lot of people sometimes overlook getting to the final 2 and only think about how they can win the final 2. Someone who is using their threat management to make themselves less of a threat, still able to win a comp in the endgame if needed, able to have at least a few final 2 deals, able to convince someone that another person is a threat.

I think Dani should definitely be the endurance pick! She’s won all the ones she played in other than part 3 of bb8 final hoh (which was very physical) and first hoh of bb13 (which they threw to Rachel when I think she would’ve won).

The one rebuttal I will give to that is that Dani had the BB22 wall comp thrown to her HARD. Nicole and Cody were doing so much better than her (like, by a mile. Nicole straight up wasn't even struggling and Cody barely was), but the second tyler fell, they literally looked at each other, nodded, and then both just hopped off

Perhaps you considered it for the x-factor, but I think there's one attribute you just can't quantify, but is immensely helpful in anything in life in general. Luck I think our player needs good luck, because luck has caused the downfall of many great players. Of course with enough skill, being unlucky can be counteracted, but what if you never got unlucky in the first place? That would be absolutely incredible and will inevitably show off the most dominating game yet (although I imagine a season with this player will be somewhat boring, since it would be easy for the viewers to see the writing on the wall very easily)

if one player had to be the perfect big brother player including Jury management: 100% it is Dan no question. In some way he's checkmarked every box. Also I'd replace Vanessa with Paul on X factor maybe or I'd replace her with Derrick on intelligence because she shouldn't be taking two spots just so we keep consistency. I would definitely swap out Frank in clutch category for BBCAN5 Kevin and yes that is a bit of cheating but he was so clutch he broke the game even. If I can't choose him, I'll choose Jackson

After watching Dan choke so badly on season 2 of The Traitors, I'm a bit more hesitant to praise him so highly. I know, they're completely different types of games, and we've seen consistently that Big Brother players fare poorly on The Traitors, but both require social strategy games that aren't that dissimilar. Maybe that's just me.

For strategic mind its a tough pick but my picks would be Will Dan or Derrick. Also social I think ED wouldn't be a bad choice. He was always a big target so people kept him in plus he caused hell for everyone but still managed to get himself out of it and won. Also ED for endurance as well. He went through 8 hours of in my opinion the worst endurance comp ever. Sure he lost but how many people would be able to do that nowadays?

All joking aside, I think you’re missing “The Perfect Superfan” as in, someone who is capable of using their knowledge of previous seasons’ twists, formats, alliance structures, player downfalls, etc to further their game. And, maybe it’s recency bias because I JUST finished watching this season, but I actually might need to unironically give it to Josh Martinez for BBUS (apparently Kevin Martin was best for BBCAN): He utilized his knowledge of “cult leader” players and alliance structure, as well as Paul’s BB18 game, to inflate Paul’s ego enough to set him up, using the Goodbye Messages (which no one thought of using) to ultimately blow up Paul’s game with the jurors each time someone got evicted.
