Those weren't US Marine helmets, they were US Navy Tanker helmets that were the basis for the Rebel Fleet Trooper and Imperial Gunner (aka Death Star Trooper) helmets. Still, these are amazing.

You mean as a buck? No it should be fine as it's not in the direct heat. The flat plastic you do heat doesn't melt and stick to the buck and to release it you pump it full of air like a balloon

Christian Edwards you can buildt one yourself using a wooden box and a vacuum cleaner i tried it and it work surprisingly well heating the plastic up is a bit of the main problem
