For me, Blade runner is the best movie of 2017. Dennis did it justice.

Yes; "Good time" is also so good from that year. That was a great year for film and games (botw was released 2017)

The sound in Blade Runner was PHENOMENAL! It's great to hear the dynamic/relationship they want with a director.

So the Peugeot in the Movie is actually a Honda! As an Englishman in France, I cannot wait to tell my French neighbour this news... over and over again! 😂 Great work Gentleman, I watched this movie at the weekend and I am happy to confirm it is an analogue masterpiece. BRAVO 🏆

No created sound at all. You forgot to include the sounds they were talking about. Like listening to a director of photography talk about their work and not showing it. Confused about sound “informing” the edit, although with the story about the showroom, it began to make sense. Was that the only instance of sound influencing the film editing? Musical ability affecting a scene’s ambience, how? Interesting that well into the process, they ‘suddenly’ find out they shouldn’t use original Blade Runner sounds. I wonder if the person on the other end of the phone was making a creative choice instead of a legal one.

A lot of other people have probably asked about this but I am really curious about the huge, revving bullhorn sound in the city--not how the effect was produced--but what makes that sound in the story. I imagined some massive engine of power, pollution, and wealth disparity. The noise represents the elephants in the room of this society--the devastation of the earth, the few who have dictating the lives of the many who have not (replicant and impoverished human alike), the complete triumph of consumerism; it's ugly, offensive, loud, and no one even notices anymore. Is it a power plant? Some kind of construction machinery? A mass transit system?

A complete fail on the sound front as far as I am concerned. Some parts are so quiet you can barely hear anything, then the volume is deafening. Absolutely awful and unforgivable load of trash!

Someone's jealous they can't sound design good enough for a major motion picture. And your complaint about quiet parts & loud parts? It's called dynamics. For someone so critical you would think you would understand this concept.
@Slarti
@Slarti 4 жыл бұрын
@@Technique-kj2bp dynamics goes well beyond just pianississimo and fortississimo, unless you have the subtlety of a knuckle dragging neanderthal.
@Technique-kj2bp
@Technique-kj2bp 4 жыл бұрын
If you're trying to be a smartass using those terms to describe loud and quiet then your criticism is still unfounded. The film has various volume levels that range between the quietest part and the loudest part. You're just inventing things to critique that don't exist.
