I just spent a month trying to do this by cross mixing marvelous and Maya and other tools. Thank you very much for this, very clear and easy to follow! What would the next step be after retopology is the new pattern editable?

Glad it helped! Yes its editable, even in third party apps.

@@hearthdesignlab actually when you bake the topology inside MD, you wont be able to edit it, you need to re-topo it.
