I don’t quite understand your conversion of PR/PR - 1 = your predicted spread. You’re subtracting 1 from a value less than one and coming up with a negative integer (by your formula) In the Green Bay example, 0.93 - 1 = -0.07, which you say means -7 GB. In the Oakland example, 0.91 - 1 = -0.09, but then say it means -8 Oakland? Not saying the concept is wrong just saying the equations themselves seem incomplete based on what you’re saying they come up with. The 0.91 should actually be .92, since you’re taking more than just the first 2 decimal places. Your formula should be re-written like this (Dog PR * -10 / Favorite PR) + 1 = spread. That would come up with -8.2 for Oakland.

You are making it too complex or maybe I did in the explanation. All I am doing is calculating the margin between those two numbers. Same formula you would use to calculate “profit” margin or any other margin. I rounded off for simplicity.
