ATV TORN AXLE BOOT - Arctic Cat 500

A first attempt at replacing the torn cv boot in my ATV.
Over the winter I tore the cv axle boot on my Arctic Cat 500 while out riding around and repairing it is much harder than I thought.
Everyone on KZbin made it look so easy, but I have to say it is not an easy fix if the axle does not come out. In fact, I still have more to do and if you have any advice on removing the axle before I get started again, please comment below. I could really use it!

The new ones are ridiculously expensive. We bought this used two years ago so it was a great price. Just have to keep it going. How cool that you still have one running form 1975! Would love a side by side myself but they are out of our budget :-)

Creating A Simpler Life well a new one is north of 20k and so many people finance them. We only buy things that we can pay cash for. Car and other payments are a from of slavery, in my opinion!! God bless and have great weekend

You took the nut off the center that holds hub, on but you did not remove hub. Simply tap it our and the axle is free
