I've been fascinated by your right thumb ... as you move it with a Braille-like sensitivity for each stitch. I’ve purchased a lot of stocking patterns and watched YT videos and just couldn’t do the heel. But finally, I made a Christmas stocking!! I made it all white yarn since that’s what I had on hand. I really enjoyed watching your video. I'm not very knowledgeable on the stitches but I was able to follow along with yours. Thank you. I am still working on the cuff , I had to made a few adjustments due to my eye sight so I used a bigger needle (11) so I could see what I was doing. I do believe it came out very nice. On my next one I will go for a smaller size. LOL Thank you so much. I just finished the cuff on my stocking. Very proud of it considering it's my first one . Thank you so much 🤗👍

Should the round end in the same exact spot everytime? And does the chain 2 in the blue rounds count as a stitch or do you crochet a hdc in the next stitch after the chain 2?

I am doing the pattern an have 32 stitches for the cuff but I don't end with fpdc what am I doing wrong ?

Hi, it should go in 2's, so the first stitch is a DC and second is a FPDC. Since it's an even amount of 32, it should end evenly. Count your stitches if you can and see where you may have either missed one or done two of the same kind in a row. Otherwise just add an additional FPDC at the end and next round just follow what you did for the first. One extra stitch will be fine for the cuff 🥰

Hi Kirsty! You can add some extra rounds to the toe portion. That will make it wider as you start the stocking. The counts will be more than what I have, but it should be easy to change. Then add extra rows before and after the heel to lengthen it. I'd add the same amount before and the same amount after. The heel portion will change since you have more stitches. Just follow the basic pattern we are doing there and you will do a few more rows of it. Hope this helps! ✨️

Hi! It will just make the stocking smaller, that's all. You can always double the yarn and use two strands to help make it a little bigger if you'd like. Otherwise a 4mm is fine, it will just be a smaller stocking 😊

Hi Connie, I'm sorry I missed your message when you originally sent it! I'm usually able to reply the same day. I'm not sure if you've made it already, but you could use a larger hook or do a couple more rounds of the heel following the same pattern. Then you will have more stitches around, otherwise everything else should be roughly the same.
