Creative Composition Notebooks (Napkin Craft Tutorial)

It’s that time of year again when you can get all of the best school supplies, which work great for crafting too! I am showing you how to get creative with composition books, adding all of the napkin art and embellishments to the cover. This is a great project to use up any leftover scrap paper, napkins, ribbons, and more hiding in your stash. My favorite notebooks are the half-size composition books, which make really excellent “little something” gifts, to-do list notebooks, planners, and more.

I would live to b a member of ur napkin club. These half journals I make them into recipe books. Great house warming gift. I am a very crafty person. Tons of cards, scrapbooking, junk journals, etc is what I make

Years ago our custodian at school would cut them in 1/2 for us. The half ones were all we needed for the subjects we journaled in. Amazon has them. You can also get the 1/2 notebooks in vertical orientation. We always called the black and white ones “moo cow books” because of their coloring.

I think you could make some dividers and make it into an address book. Another idea would be a menu book. I make the menu every week and then that's what I make my grocery list off of. You could also make it into a master menu list.

I’ve had problems with Modpodge staying sticky. I thought that I was doing it correctly, but can’t figure out what it could be? Is there a sealer which dries non-sticky?
