Want faux rice paper too? Instead of ironing, try using a glue and water mixture to saturate the napkin on the freezer paper. When its dry, the lighter parts of the napkin become translucent if not transparent. Cheers!

This also works great on one of those big plastic table cloths or thick plastic bags. If you have an outdoor space, this is fun to do in summer. I usually put the glue/water mix into a spray bottle, spray the plastic that I've layed out, put the napkins on top (tea bags and tissue paper work too), then spray again. On a hot day it takes 20 min to dry, and I can make multiple batches in one afternoon. Or you could do this before bed, and let dry overnight.

I am too due to severe scoliosis. Sometimes I hate to think where I’d be without these tutorials. I have live relationships when my IHSS women come over to assist with my activities of daily living. I agree her voice is pleasing and uses simple terms. My first passion is sewing been a hobby seamstress age 8. When you don’t go out there’s not a demand for a lot of clothes.Ive made more quilts than I could use so paper crafting is a good hobby for me. Can be expensive but it doesn’t have to be. A caregiver of mine loves estate sales takes me with her. I bought a huge box of sheet music none published before the 1960s. Many in 30s and 40s. Another great find a replica vintage Sears Catalog. It is over 1000 pages none of which I can’t use. Temu is another place to find cheap arts & craft supplies. Haven’t been disappointed yet with any product. Take care I just wanted to let ya know you’re not alone bc I know how lonely it can be. I haven’t much family ( I care for) and I moved just before I became afflicted with “the fastest progressing case of scoliosis” this doc had ever seen. At 57 who would have thought. It was the perfect storm I never saw coming! forced to retire before I was financially ready. No family no friends no money. But I have my dog and she is my world. I’m rambling . She re sign the f a lonely person. o😅

You can also make templates with a clear plastic. That way you can see the pattern on the paper better being sure you have exactly what you want in its place. I do this technique for sewing as well ❤ I love your designs

You have a great teaching method. I have had good success with another napkin method- using a cooked corn starch and ironing onto layers of the white napkin papers with the patterned pages on top. As a matter foca, I just saw Saacibo do this method just the other day. You did a fantastic job with this. Thanks for sharing.
