Liked this video because LOVE is not an option. Ya know, that’s really indicative of fatal flaws in our modern world. Why is love not an option? I digress. Thanks for your influence and realness, HF!

Mind Mapping - 11:06 Awesome concept that I had not thought to use before. So often I get stuck with writer's block planning adventures and encounters out the 'conventional' way. I definitely have to try this out. Thanks for always bringing something fresh to the table Hankerin!

The end of this video proves that the more things change, the more they stay the same. Quick thing; Talomire (my, now published, campaign setting, wouldn’t exist if I hadn’t found your journal videos a year or more ago. It frees up my thinking and allowed me to do a load of stuff I’d have gotten too bogged down in details to ever do. Also, I love the video, and can’t wait to see how things change around here. And as someone getting into RPG publishing, I’m totally happy to learn from someone who’s bosses that realm.

For what it's worth, I found your channel a couple years ago and stopped looking for creative inspiration and DM tips content. One man's opinion: there are lots of other tabletop creators on youtube, but you're the best. I'm excited to see where this channel goes.

Absolutely love mind mapping. A few years ago, I didn't see the benefit. But one day I was having trouble sorting my thoughts out. I decided to try mind mapping. It felt so good to 'brain-dump' and sort through thoughts with this tool. Thanks for exploring the topic as it relates to DnD/RPGs!

Dude... I'm really late to the party, but, I'm HERE! It was either DM Scotty, or Professor Dungeonmaster, cant remember which, that brought you to my attention. I've got 2nd edition, so far, read it several times, amd eager to play. I'm having problems with Drivethrurpg getn the cards, so I've been doodling my own.... but, your artwork blows mine out the toilet. Maybe I'll eventually get thru... anyway, I've never really had much interest in bookkeeping RPGs, but, something about your take on it just resonates with me. More fun and story, less math! Thanks a lot. Looking forward to many years of adventure and mayhem! All the best.

You perfectly encapsulated why I like ICRPG. The visual part for me is way better to understand what the text wants to say than the text itself. As long as you keep loving what you do you will find people who will be willing to watch no matter the subject. I for my part am more interested in the actual design/publishing side of RPGs since you barely see any of it on YT. Even though DnD is trying to bring more to the forefront with Mike Mearls Happy Fun Hour and there are a ton of google+ communitys where they discuss it but almost nothing on youtube.

Man maybe a little later, like internet explorer! jejejej. Really love this chapter, you´re the best. It´s curious but the main enemy of the visual thinking is ourselves! I try so hard to make this exercise, concepts coneccting, drawnings, schemes, maybe a song lyric... BUT your brains starts to sabotage and wants to take you in the trail of "good linear thinking". THanks man you made me like to play DnD again. Keep shapeshifting, old drunken doppleganger!

Good stuff my man! Drawing in the right side of the brain has helped me a lot as well. A good buddy gave it to me As well as a book on writing from the right side. Glad to see you feeling better! My mind mapping is very similar but I tend to be a goal driven dm. Like in place of the two entities you wanted to incorporate I would have a sacking of a city or the destruction of a sacred place. Then bullet point causes and repercussions that could play out. This helps me have more paths to follow if my party goes of the beaten path. Do you think end goals are less important and can be changed as needed? And that the characters of the world or campaign should be paid attention to more? Since those are the things that stick with players the most?
