Loved it. Another amazing video again Lee. I follow several photographers on youtube and so many times I think, "there is no way I can do that or there is no way I can afford that kind of equipment." When I watch your videos I can always say "I can do that and I have all that stuff in my house already." Your primary school report cards must have said "This kid has the most creative mind that I have ever taught."

Hey Lee....what is the trick to getting water drops to stay on the petal of a flower?....when i try they just seem to run off like water off a ducks back.
@LeeHallphotography Жыл бұрын
Hi mate hope you are keeping well. The simplest way to get the to stay on is to build the droplets up. What I do is I use a fine spray and hold it away from the flower then start spraying letting the water droplets form naturally watching as they build up this way they have more chance to hold onto the flower petals. Hope this helps

These are great. Question. What is the reason for the extension tube versus just using your macro lens? Allowing the camera to be closer to the jar for ease of taking the photos?
@LeeHallphotography8 ай бұрын
Hi mate thank you for reaching out to me with a fantastic question. It really is all about filling the frame of your camera so you don’t have to crop into your picture. Using the extension tubes allows you to get closer to the subject without cropping in. Sometimes when you crop into a picture what you are doing is making the pixels larger and this will make your picture noisy because of stretching the pixels.

An interesting video .... it's a shame the music stopped me from hearing what you were saying around the 12 minute mark. Regardless, I appreciate the information and intend to give this a go.

Great video Lee. You explained the process very well. I did find the music a little overpowering though.
