Hi Dora, I have been watching you for awhile, today I decided to follow your tips, I got .5 oz deodorant sticks , I did 2 oz of cocoa butter, 2 oz of bees wax, 2 oz of oils, I used Arnica Oil, Hemp Seed Oil and Vit E ....... I suffer in pain everyday , this filled 10 sticks and half a jar of 125 mils canning jar. Ty for the guidance , I did try it before it set (from the jar) and it helped my lower back pain.

I just made these and I used peony infused olive oil. They are just a bit greasy, but my family has pretty dry skin, so no big deal. They smell amazing. I have to find all natural scents because I can't tolerate most fragrances or chemicals. I recently began making soaps and wanted to make a peony scented soap but didn't think the smell would survive saponification. This lotion bar is awesome. Thank You!!

Olive oil is more greasy of a carrier oil than some others. If you make them again try another oil like safflower oil or jojoba oil and it shouldn’t be as greasy feeling on the skin

I’m new to this. Why do you wait for it to cool some before adding fragrance. Thanks.
@leighjohnson841716 күн бұрын
@@rebeccabaron1348 I know this answer as it applies to essential oils (not fragrance oils) but if you add EOs when the mixture is too warm then for some reason it messes up the scent and you can’t smell it anymore. It wastes it for scent purposes. I’m not sure if it ruins the benefits as an essential oil or not. Any temp below 140° +/- is safe for adding EOs.
