Today Cody and I went shopping at Hobby Lobby for yarns for our yarn swatch video. Don't make the same mistake we did!! We went on a week the yarn was NOT on sale. That is so correct about Hobby Lobby the yarn is organized by color and it looks fabulous and it makes it easier for the shoppers OK knitters and crocheters❤️ I’ve stopped crocheting for the summer, but I forgot to tell you I love it when you do the swatches in varied because it’s amazing how different and how pretty they can look and it’s hard to imagine when you’re just looking at them on the shelf But I appreciate what you do Very much!💕

They really do have some lovely yarn at Hobby Lobby. I bought the Yarn Bee Chromatic Spectrum a few weeks ago in the colorway “It’s Azure”. Oh my gosh, I believe it’s the prettiest yarn I have EVER seen!!!!😱😱😱😱 I’m making a shawl as a Christmas gift for a dear friend and I know she will love this color. It kind of reminds me of Premier Puzzle yarn, but this rich teal color is stunning. You picked out some pretty skeins to work up. You sure “took one for the team” by buying the yarn without the 30% discount. ❤-Brenda

Cody mentioned the round yarn looms - I use then for beanies and the rectangular looms for scarves when my arthritis acts up - easier on the hands - just wrap the yarn around the pegs and lift bottom yarn up over the 2nd row of yarn - pretty easy - alot faster than hand crocheting - perhaps a bit of cheating, but still makes pretty garments! You should try just for a change...a set usually has different sizes - I got an assortment of the round and rectangle looms. Have you tried the Tulip brand crochet hooks? Yikes are kinda expensive! Nice to try different kinds - treat ourselves once in awhile doesn't hurt - keeps us creating! Thanks :-) Have a nice day...🧶

Pretty much every skein you picked up today was just beautiful. When you were choosing different colors of the I Love This Yarn! I was yelling at my phone, "Pick that one! Pick that one!" But you never picked the color I wanted. You picked up the one above it and the one to the right of it and the one right below that one. I looked it up and it is called Candystick Stash. It was rainbow-y but pretty dark so I'm not really surprised you didnt pick it. Can't wait for the swatch video! Keep 'em comin'!! 🥰🥰

I still match dye lots even if they say "no dye lots." Sometimes there's a difference, especially Red Heart. The colors in RH even vary in different years 🙁

Hi Glenda and Cody!! Thank you for taking us with you to shop! I feel the same about my hobby lobby! They have downsized from 5 isles to 3, and one of those 3 also has hooks and embroidery thread as well as latch hook rug kits. So truly gotten smaller! I have discovered that a couple of my local yarn stores are now carrying Hobbii yarn AND some Lion Brand .. prices are the same as if you shopped at Joann’s or online. You might call yours and see if they are stocking it too?🧶🤗❤️
