I wanted to show you what I completed with your awesome tutorial. I appreciate you so much! So easy to follow, so easy to understand. Thankful for you. This is with self striping yarn from AC Moore. It's a baby afghan for my very first grandson Brogan, who is coming in June! Thank you so much again for this tutorial! Hugs!

This pattern looks great with variegated yarn! So many do not. Thanks for showing me what I can do with the variegated yarn I have had for far too long. Thanks, too, for taking the time to do 3 samples with every stitch of the week. It helps tremendously! God bless.

I don't know how many times I've been on your channel and just noticed the link to your website where you make these patterns available to download lol. Guess who's going to download a lot of these to her laptop when I get the Internet back up and running. I could hug you so hard for making these available in video and free downloads! I'll definitely be back, I have to stop with all crochet a half hour before bed or I'll just obsessively think about the stitches and all the awesome stuff I can do with them lol.

I would love to make this a lap blanket 4ft wide . How many chains would I need to do to have even amount of arrows.?
@044sue6 жыл бұрын
I love this stitch i changed colors for the arrows I would like to know can you put a edging on if so which one would you prefer thank you you are a very good teacher thank you so much
@CreativeGrandma6 жыл бұрын
I think I would stick to a simple border so you do not take away from the arrow design. You could always do a front post dc in one stitch and a back post dc in the next stitch which is simple but adds a little texture.
@044sue6 жыл бұрын
Creative Grandma thank you that sounds great
@ellenr66416 жыл бұрын
Love the pattern. Can I carry the white along if I do the every other row as in your sample? Thanks so much.!!!
@CreativeGrandma6 жыл бұрын
It would be on the wrong side to carry up for the next row, you can if you change colors every two rows. You would have to make a sample and see if you like it with a 2 row color change.
@sandralester34036 жыл бұрын
Love this. My question is how do you figure how much yarn to use to make a nice size Afghan.?
@CreativeGrandma6 жыл бұрын
it all depends on the weight of yarn you are using and the size of the skein, my best advise is to look on-line for afghan patterns using the yarn you want to use and look at the finished size of the afghans and see how much they use for what size. It all depends on the stitch pattern as well but might give you a better starting point.
@brendaohaver33396 жыл бұрын
Beautiful stitch! I would like to do each stitch of the week as a sample and put them all together! Would that work out?
@CreativeGrandma6 жыл бұрын
Hello Brenda, as long as you make each block the same size and try to do the same birder around all the blocks it should work out wonderful like a sampler afghan
@lindajones40455 жыл бұрын
Great idea Brenda

Wanted to learn this for a while! Thank you so much! Wondering what you think of using self striping yarn with this? Would it work?
@CreativeGrandma6 жыл бұрын
I think the self striping yarn looks good with almost any pattern. I love self striping yarn. It is always best to make a small sample to see if you like the end results

The finishing row is at the end of the video, you can use what ever border you wish around the stitch pattern.
