Thank you for your kind & concise instruction. Thank you for your creative design. As for stitch markers, I can & do still make mistakes on the beginning & ending of each row, no matter what I am trying to make! It becomes very disheartening. I appreciated the demonstration of how to use stitch markers.

I have purchased all the supplies and I’m on square 8. I couldn’t resist though. I had to put a border on one of my green squares. Sooo cute. I knew as soon as I saw this afghan, I had to make it. Thank you so much for the awesome instructions

I have been crocheting for over 5 years and I still use stitch markers!! I recommend making all your green squares first, then start with the next color. Assembly line crochet is more satisfying as you feel as though you have accomplished more and it encourages you to finish! That Said in making this blanket now. I'm using pound of love and a 6mm hook. I might do different shades of Santa for each block, I'm not sure yet, I'm looking at shades. Very exciting!

Wow! So glad you showed how to use stitch markers lol. I was watching a different tutorial and was going to suggest showing what stitch markers were and how to use them for beginners but didn't know if I should or not. *I'm not a beginner but after many years I've caved and begun using stitch markers on several projects to save myself headaches and having to count 5 times instead of 2 or 3

The Caron One Pounder would be ok to use as long as you used the One pounders for the entire afghan to keep the yarn consistant.
