Hey. I started watching your videos after seeing a sponsored FB ad because it was spot on. I never tried looking for business advice, I only got targeted by FB, watched a 50min video with you, and loved your style. You are clear, you do not sound vague, you give actual advice, you seem to be creative and very business-minded. I take notes and I feel that I am learning something new as I have little experience selling what I create and design by myself. Also, obviously, you are very specific - Handmade Business - this is what I want to hear. And I love that you ask to like and subscribe in the middle of your video - this just proves that you have a great mind for this.

Hi Mei! I found you through a KZbin ad! (Yes, yours worked! 😄🙌) In this particular ad, you talked about how to grow your business through your handmade products. Because I have a similar style business, I clicked on it, and watched your vid (instead of the vid I was originally going to view 🤣). This was like 3 weeks or so ago. Ever since, I have been hooked on watching your KZbin vids, almost on a daily basis. You are a WEALTH of genius information, and wisdom when it comes to business and marketing. I have seen many other "business gurus" on KZbin, and I like what they have to say. However, most of their content is based on business in a general sense, and not all of their information is directly relevant to the creative industry. Which is why your content is so valuable for me personally. Plus, you explain things clearly, and simply, and offer simple step by step info that are easy to follow, all of which are up to date, and current with the goings on in the world which also directly impact businesses today. Again, a huge bonus. You get the creative industry, which helps me to feel that you get me, and my needs as a business owner. Which is huge! 🙏🙏 Thank you for ALL that you do, Mei. Thank you for making the decision to open up your businesses, go through your ups and your downs, and to then share them with us by opening up this channel, and provide us with SO much valuable information and knowledge related to business in the creative industry. You are already a blessing in my life. Thank you, thank you. 🙏💝

You deliver information without repeating yourself and have concrete examples of what you're talking about. There is no pyramid scheme feel here. To answer your question - I listen (and Kinda binge...) cause I love your tonation. I don't make products by hand, and more and more I'm leaning into being an affiliate rather than a seller. But listening to you talk about how to make products sell better- helps me select items to write about. I also do Etsy shop critique and re-dos, so any info on the ecommerce world is important to me. Also, in general, I like knowing stuff... Like that whole-buyers expect a 50% discount. I won't do anything with that info myself, but I like to learn while working. If i'm working on designing something or writing (as long as I'm not coding) I like to have people around me, and as there are no coworking spaces now around me- You're my coworking space :) Plus, I really want to start my own channel, mostly talking about being an affiliate, blogging, and selling on Fiverr, - and hearing you say you're insecure- helps.

You create great and relevant contents that I've been searching for regarding handmade business. Your contents are really informative and in depth. Your videos are definitely not short neither, but the info given are so helpful and applicable that I stayed on watching without any complaints. I first started watching your videos because the preview and initial impression was polished but still very much of a crafter/ small business owner first and foremost, rather than a coach or marketing expert. Your videos are also very informative on their own without *having* to sign up for coaching or emails and your engagement makes it feel very personal and helpful, which ended up getting me to the point where I am considering signing up for your paid course. What kept me here to keep watching videos are the easy step by step instructions (almost feels like cheating lol) and that you present them in a way that motivates me to keep going with my business idea, very positive even when talking about difficult topics and being realistic.

I have enjoyed watching your videos for several different reasons. #1. You are actually giving your viewers information that was well thought of and put together. #2. Your character stands out from others in your videos as you describe to your viewers about your experiences. #3. You are educated on the topic of selling handmade products. You give your audience advice that no one else seems to want to share. #4 this is my favorite, You are not trying to sell me (the viewer) something!! In my opinion, that makes me want to hire you as a coach more. The authenticity in your approach to reach your audience is far and beyond incredible. Once I have my business up and running with my blog, I am without a doubt going to praise you, your channel, your brand, and your super adorable and very unique jewelry! I have big, big dreams and it is because of you that I now have the courage and confidence in my products to sell them at the price they deserve to be sold for. You have opened up my mind about so many things. I truly am very grateful for your insights about managing and operating a handmade business.

Mei, to answer your question, I signed up for your A Sale a Day Business courses last week because when I saw your pitch video I knew you knew what you were talking about. I've had two small home based businesses where I sold primarily in fairs, markets and shows. Your pitch was on point. It gave me enough information to want to know more. I didn't think there was that much more but there is.... Goes to know how much I need to learn about selling on the web. Secondly, I watch your KZbin videos because they give me quick insights that I can start working on over and above the training I paid for. I only found you a few days ago but I happened to pick one of your videos from a KZbin search on how to start an Etsy account. I've been researching and trying to learn how to effectively run a craft business so that I can start my own. I found your video on why Etsy isn't the best basically unless you're starting out and after that video I started binge-watching through your channel. I agree you're very clear and understandable when explaining things in your videos. You also have visually appealing videos that aren't distracting or boring to me and your voice is easy to listen too. Unfortunately some people just have a certain tone or something about their voice that it makes them hard to pay attention too. I can concentrate on what you're saying and the points you're trying to make. It's very assuring and makes me think I can trust what you're saying. I don't want to invest my time and energy into something that I feel unsure about only to have it blow up in my face. Watching your videos I feel I'm learning from an honest and tried and true person instead of feeling like I'm being duped just so you can get views/attention to your channel. I like you have so much information for beginners like myself and I hope to see much more even if it seems too simple/logical and seems like something we should already know. Thank you so much for helping noob people like myself, I personally really appreciate it!

Now, I am trying to find ways to grow, esp online. There aren’t enough craft markets to do as well as I could. I’m a little terrified of shipping, taxes, etc. I want to move past that and find my target audience bc I really have quality products I know they’d love. Lol I hope that answered your question. I think your relevant, experience-based tips that you share are great! You have a large collection of videos that are packed full of insightful content and you share details of your own personal experiences, trials and errors, and even your current endeavors. This combination of content, plus the fact that you are local to my area in MN makes your videos feel really relevant to me as I work on getting my own handmade business up and running. Thanks for sharing!

10:23- to answer your question its easy. because you write in your description or the thumbnail what people want to know unlike others and I am very grateful that you make these videos I have learned a lot from you. also your title is catching and makes people go to your video and listen to what you have to say to get as much resource as possible. as my dad says " people are resources" and no I understand what he means by that!! :)

If I could add a bit constructive criticism, I personally find the sound effects in your videos a bit distracting and unnecessary. You asked what attracts your content vs. other people's content. You have been there, done that. You have an incredible amount of social proof. You are very accessible (like for example you commented on a youtube comment i made before I bought your course which showed me you care and you're a real person. You're generous as well as relevant with your information in regards to handmade businesses. I enrolled in the Sale a Day Program www.creativehiveco.com/a-sale-a-day-business-closed/ and I am on module 1, and after the first zoom call with you and your team, I see your course as being as valuable as what I would hope to get out of an MBA. Although I have a BFA and MFA, believe it or not art school didn't teach me anything about business.

You don't give these frou frou ideas, like knowing your customer's name and how she takes her coffee. You also are identifying my struggles and observations with accuracy- social media is a waste of my time, pi terest is not where people go to shop - so its confirmation that I'm on the right track but just need the right direction. Your ideas make sense, and you've been there. It helps that our products are kind of similar, bright colors, cutsy, etc.
