Very pretty. I love that effect. I had some of those Martha Stewart sponges. I think I bought them at a yard sale. They didn't work for what I bought them for. I was so aggrevated that I threw them away! lol

I really like this!! Contact paper? Perfect idea! It doesn’t leak underneath? Why did you wet both sides of the paper? Is that how it stopped curling, or was it the hannemule and the washi tape? It’s lovely! I love your calm voice! 👍

Hello and thank you so much for your comments. Yes wetting both sides of the paper will make the paper lay flat on my board. The temporary contact adhesive paper works fabulously without it bleeding underneath the area where it is placed.

Have you tried a circle stencil and rub out with a sponge? This is very effective for a variety of backgrounds.

I'm excited to try this, but I'm finding that the Iso Yellow only comes in deep. Is that what you are using? Also, I spent a very long time looking for the Martha Stewart daubers to no avail. I am going to try some from Michaels and Amazon. We'll see. This painting is beautiful, can't wait!

I have also looked for the Martha Stewart stampers and I don’t think she sells them anymore so I just ordered some from Amazon. Beautiful! Perfect for fall here in Ontario!! I noticed the paper was dry before you stamped. The sponge must have been wet though? Can you also use the sponge on damp paper?

Hi Wendy! Yes you can use it while the paper is damp it will lift more paint when the paper is still damp! I am from Ontario as well. I was born in Espanola and lived mostly in Sudbury! The autumn there is amazing! Miss Ontario because of Covid I haven't been back in over 2 years. Hope to visit my family soon. And yes the sponge was wet, I dipped it in the water and use a paper towel to control how wet the sponge gets. Happy Painting!

Hello, thank you very much. I wet both sides so that the paper is very well saturated it gives me more time to lay down all the colors I want before the paper starts to dry and it also sticks to my plastic board and stays nice and flat while it's wet. Happy Painting!

@@paulawithers9501 I have used the adhesive paper on Arches and Hahneumle Collection paper so far without any damage to the paper. I have not tried the adhesive paper on any other brands so far. The two that I use are 100 percent cotton papers :) Thanks for your question :)

By doing this it allows more time to get your colors in wet on wet the paper doesn’t dry as fast plus it sticks to the surface of what you’re painting better keeping your paper flat instead of buckling😊🎨
