Can this be done on any background...... mountains or any trees...

Hi Reema. This type of background is normally a result of focusing on something quite close to the viewer. I would say that it would not be suitable for a whole tree or mountain but perhaps a close-up of a few leaves or section of a branch. Google ‘bokeh’ and you will see many examples of this effect is used in photography.

I used household item (bottle caps, coins etc.) to trace circles and cut them out carefully with a small utility knife.
