I have quit my night shift job three years ago to go after my dream. Along the way, I've had MANY instances of incredible luck and the worst luck, which has really perplexed me. When i experience the setbacks, i get very upset because it seems like, how is this possible? I don't know how I'll recover from this. Then, yesterday, i understood. What i see as bad or good luck isn't luck at all, it's the plan. It's just right. I see it as luck because there's no logical reason behind the happenings (honestly strange things happen), but i can't see the logic since i can't see the future. What keeps me going us the deep down understanding that this is what I'm supposed to be doing. Sometimes you just know. And in order to reach my destination, i just have to keep moving forward, and trust the devine plan. We got this. 💙

Beautiful comment. I'm trying to make my super big project now, and the moment I think of it only from my head level it seems soooo impossible, and far away. I'll write your words and come back to them whenever I need some encouragement:)

My ultimate artistic goal for the past year has been to create my own short comic series. Since April of last year, I've drawn a single page and have yet to finalize the design of the main character. I spent most of those 15 months reading other artists books and stressing out over how my own will never reach the scale or mastery of theirs, especially since this is my first try at something like this. I've been working to keep my own aspirations in perspective because obviously my comics will never resemble the ones I read. I have confidence that one day I will eventually have something to show for my ideas, but to do that it will need to be unique to my own art style and ways of storytelling.

One thing I recently grokked is that the present moment IS the doorway...AS IT IS. You are perfect, as is your work, RIGHT NOW. The only thing that makes it imperfect is the comparison. So if you put blinders on, just activate your Tunnel Vision, consume less, and create, you will find that you had it all along. The perfect moment is now. The action is now. Create.

Some really great techniques and talking points here! I’d like to suggest a technique that has helped me in the past 2-3 years. Whenever I’ve felt insecure or nervous about starting a project, continuing a project or releasing the finished works, I’ve started asking myself the question “How much will this hurt if I don’t do it?”, which really puts things into perspective for me, put me back on track and takes me to new places creatively. As Ive gotten older, my only requirements have become: 1. Have fun 2. Learn something new Good luck with the project and I look forward hearing your music once it’s released ✌️
@creativemindsyoutube4 ай бұрын
This hits for me. I like that idea of 'how much will this hurt...' Sometimes I wonder why I even want to bring this together for my project, and it's not really clear, only that I've wanted to do it for a long time, and not getting it done is 'hurting' me a bit, and just scratching a bit. So I hear this. I love those simple requirements too. Have fun -❤️

At 24.08 - that’s a really fresh opinion for me on that style of drafting/working on a song. However I think it’s a good idea to also keep an open mind to forcing yourself to be comfortable, get used to your mumbly, wordless, formless voice within the process of creating melodies and lyrics. Yes it feels so cringe and uncomfortable and embarrassing but personally it feels like taking a hard way of putting your ego behind you and sitting with that raw discomfort and working through it and making something beautiful out of it. It made me think of the draft take of Headlong that Queen released on the deluxe version of Headlong (it’s titled: Headlong - Embryo with Guide Vocals) its raw, Brian May mumbling unwritten lyrics over the instrumental track. And it’s amazing to see how that turned into the final version that Queen fans know today. While I will now think about your statement upon ego and this method of tracking vocals when I create my own work, I thought I might just also give you how I view this method as well! :) Nothing is wrong, everyone has their own methods and everyone’s brain works in different ways. And it was actually really thought provoking and fresh to hear all of this from you. I love this style of video. Keep going man, you have all our support🙏
