Great video and excellent footage of the aurora. For recording at night in the tent, I set my Osmo action 3 to manual mode and set the iso to 3200, I also use a Ulanzi video light and my videos have next to no picture noise. Talking about vans, I have a Ford Grand Tourneo Connect, which is basically a van with seats and windows as standard. I have what u call a boot jump fitted, which basically turns the van into a camper and gets me and the Mrs away for a couple of nights at a time. The boot jump can be folded away and sits behind the rear seats.

I am thinking of a ford custom High top 🙏🙏🙏 The settings I used for the night lapse were take the stability off adding to quality, then set it to 100/12800 iso And 20 WB at 4500k Then shot in raw. So that I could edit the timelapse with the images to adjust the speed and quality of the picture. Actually prefferd filming all in raw in the end and figured out how to adjust the stuff after I'd posted the video 😂. Happy New year xxx

@@GoSummitSolo On your settings for night lapse, is the 20 the shutter speed. The boot jump is basically a seated area complete with a small table, which then folds down into a bed. I used to have a custom short wheel base high top, which I converted myself a few years back. It was my only vehicle at the time, which was excellent while I was completing the Wainwrights, allowing me to drive over to the lakes the night before, get my head down then up early the following day for the walk. I sold it shortly after as it was proving a chore to find places to park for everyday use. The smaller van more suits my needs. All the best for 2025 👍

@Peter-Lindsay intervals set at 30 and using 4k I believe 20 is the shutter speed ya. I have shot in 30 before but I preffer 20. The E. V is 0 Then I'm in wide and actually left the stability on for these ones by accident. Still worked OK. . I want to buy some nd filters to make it better some point. Yeah I want to live out of my van for months at a time so I need a big enough one but also small enough

@@Jess_Outdoors637 hi Jess. Yeah love bumping into people although I'm not that popular yet for that 😂. It happened on my munro completion though which was lovely. I had posted on the fb pages asking if anyone wanted to join. But ended up going on my own. Then coincidentally 3 people who had seen the post the dya before were up there same exact time who had come from linn of dee, I'd come from feshie bridge. It was lovely when they said they recognised me and congratulated me. 😊😊😊

This showing was as far south as the lakes 😜 I just don't think many new about it. I didn't expect it tbh. Mental. Ten minutes was right above my head then it ahuvved itself back to the north haha. Plenty more of it coming man keep on it x. It was bloody freezing. This week's camp looks even more fresesing 😱🤣😭 - 9s 😂

Just watching your vlog . Great work by tbe way. I have ny own small channel and appreciate the work done by youtubers. Anyway that not the reason iam messaging you. Just got upto the meditation part and . Oooo boy do I know what ya mean. Its hard to explain to people who don't do this (or do it properly) how uplifting it gets. I've had a few outerbody myself and it's opened my eyes no end. Deffo relate to what your talking about . I do cold water and meditation and breathwork daily. I don't feel the same if I don't do this routine. Keep up the good work .
