It looks good...similar system as Onefinity CNC...I only have one question...why you put small a4988 drivers on cnc shield when you used TB6600 drivers? A4988 don't have any purpose in that case.

What are the A4988 drivers for if you are using the TB6600 (I think)? As I see, the address pins and steps of the board are passing directly to the large drivers and these in turn go to the stepper motors, so I have that doubt.

How much did this machine end up costing plus the time for the 3D printed parts to be made? I would like to compare the cost of a unit that is already made, parts found and then all shipped together at the same time. Even if you list all that is used that doesn't mean it's in stock and then have to wait for delivery. If it's a matter of just loving to put something together, you can order one unassembled. There's no way this ends of less expensive than a comparable unit purchased with warranty with all the correct parts at one time.

All components like sliding bars, pillow bearing blocks, linear bearing blocks, precision threaded rods, end blocks are available from some reputed manufactures like SKF and also some good local manufacturers. May be the end blocks can also be fabricated from steel , al, or solid wood will also suffice. Locking holding arrangement can be made as per anyone's convenience. Total cost in India if checked on line may come to around 70,80 k from branded parts manufacturer or less if locally procured. Of course the accuracy may affect somewhat by local parts and fabrication workmanship quality. All electronic components too are available online. And programmable aurdino controller cards s too are available online. It's a good build overall cost effective workable. Thanks for your upload. Gr8 build. Keep it going.
