Hamburg is expensive compared to Berlin, but your price guides are a little high. For obvious tourist traps they're about right, but if you ask a local or look on Google you'll find good places for a much lower price. Nice video though!

This is so outdated these days ... Do you realize how many construction sites and situations it shows when trying to give you an impression of the town? Impressive! And well worth a visit.

I grew up in Hamburg and lived there until 28yo. I live in Dublin now and visit London whenever I can. I have to strongly disagree. I love Hamburg, as it is my home town but London is sooo much better on almost all levels. The only point, Hamburg is better is the public transport, but simply because we have a grand central station where ALL tubes are going. Also the HVV (like TFL) is trying to optimize over and over every couple of years. Which, let's face it gets ignored for the Central line for example. Up to 60°C in the summer in the local train wouldn't happen in Hamburg also the air quality in the Hamburg underground stations are by faaar better. But then again... it could be way way worse than with public transport of Hamburg or London, as I live in Dublin. No underground only two Tram lines and if it's out of order you have three options. Walking, Taxi or if lucky enough busses. Tho busses have also horrible connection as all of them go through city center, so going from the west to the north you ALWAYS have to go through the city center which means for a drive of 30 mins in London or Hamburg you need the tripple or quadruple amount in Dublin
