Creativity is a very spiritual thing, indeed. You mentioned one of my fav books ❤ Maybe success is just waking up and doing what Allah want us do to.

Ive been watching your videos for a long time and I can't explain how it feels to watch someone that mirrors the very same problem I am facing in life with but with great advice and reflection. Please keep making these!!

Cried watching this. Thank you. I took a leap of faith and it’s so hard and I’m feeling so uncertain about whether it’s “right” for me. Hearing you say to detach yourself from the outcome was a sigh of relief.

Assalamu alaykum, i am not sure if you have made a break from youtube, but i am happy to have found you again. I really enjoy what you make, so funny and educational, the experience and knowledge you share. I think that we really need to share many things, knowledge, to support eachother. May Allah grant you and your family and friends luck, health, sabr, happyness and health. 🙂 Oh, and one more thing, please don't be shy or anxious, because you have a lot to say what has a deep meaning and educates others. It would be shamefull to speak and it is pointless, but you are not that.

I frequently wonder if I am good enough to be an artist. I have so much love for the craft of acting that at times I worry I do not deserve a spot within it. How could I call myself an actor if Philip Seymour Hoffman is also one? Even earlier this year when I won Best Actor, I questioned if I earned it. My want to always improve can completely disregard how far I have come and blind me to where I am. I think this is normal to a certain extent but it should never stop you from taking a big swing. I come from the improv world and in it there is a powerful saying “chase the fear.” It is incredibly important to do the thing that scares you because you usually find out that you are far more capable than you give yourself credit for. Fear holds us back from doing something wonderful. Making bold choices in spite of doubt is what people want to pay to see. The harder it is for you to say or do, the more it connects with people. I felt honored that you allowed me to work on your project with you. It was truly special and I believe in your work.

the struggle is real for creative souls. I've been writing a lot lately (a novel) and having a lot of creative inspiration... but then i get anxious about what the outcome might be. It can be stressful to spend so much time and effort on something without knowing if it will ever matter to anyone else. thanks for sharing how you've kept yourself moving and growing. I'm happy for you that you're beginning to achieve the dream (your pilot)! masha Allah keep going sis 👍

this algorithm is crazy, I take media studies in A2, I took it to unleash the creative side of myself which I never got much of a chance to do in O levels, suffice to say, I absolutely hated it, I felt so behind, why can’t i create films as good as others? why do I know nothing about the complete basics of the technology used? why are my ideas not good enough?? why is my execution so horrible? I was thinking about how much less creative I feel these days, despite the several assignments, I was literally gonna search up “creativity” when this popped up in recommendedations before I even pressed the search bar lol

I love your channel. We have similar vibes and sarcasm. Plus, your very real. I enjoy yours about going to Muslim school. It seemed like there were lots of hilarity upon adulthood reflection and some close childhood bonds. Thanks for being you.

I loved this video! I was so proud of you taking action and doing your pilot! That’s something I want to pursue. I feel you with the artist date, I personally find that I don’t take seriously enough my artistic time, which is why I struggle to give some time to myself and that’s not fair, because I would take the time if it was for family or for school. Thanks for the advise 🫶🏻
