I'm a UI/UX designer and also an origamist. It amazes me how they are similar and different at the same time. Both require working on rectangles/squares, and both require iterations to get desired results. One is digital and the other one is physical. Too many iterations or feedbacks can be frustrating but it's the nature of this business and this hobby. I'm extremely satisfied not only after I get the results but also during the process. I'm also familiar with Dr. Hubermann due to his talks about healthy diet, exercise and longevity. I combine my creativity with a healthy lifestyle and bring out the best of me. When I'm frustrated, in order to prevent burnout, I walk and daydream and relax. I live near a beach, so it's usually not that hard. :)

It truly is amazing how all these creative fields intertwine! I’m happy you see the connection, and that you also think about your health. A lot of us don’t realize that we should really think and be like athletes in a way in order to sustain and perform well. The quality of our work is a reflection of the quality of ourselves. Mind and body.

What I really like about the video is the resonating of things with reality and design ✨

As someone who tends to look outside my medium (design) for inspo, this video really resonated with me. Thank you for this video!

My biggest challenge is to win the battle with my mind. Knowing I’m good at what I do but still have moments of self doubt that kills my creative bubbles

I understand! Always remember tho that when we let our minds control us, we let our emotional self win. When we master the mind, we let ourselves win.
